It’s pretty simple.

New Jersey, 1:04AM. The bartender kept asking you to leave the place, he was about to close it. Your vision is blurry.
With the little you can see, you check yourself, your skin color is black, you aren’t the same person you thought you were during your whole journey. However, you can’t make out much from it in your condition.
You go to the bathroom, your face needs some water. Your blurry vision becomes clear, you see and remember you were Sazh Katzroy.
On your way out of the bar, you remember most of your dream. You know you were fighting strange beasts, and you even saw yourself, having a children then, and some strange bird in your afro hair. However, you weren’t yourself then, you were another person.
You reach outside and think “What a strange dream, I should lay down with the alcohol”. You check your watch, it’s 1:17AM, it’s too early to be asleep.
You decide to go to the bar three blocks away while you think “That dream was pretty interesting. Getting drunk again will surely let me see how it ends”.
