Anyone got any more? I’m light on She-hulk requests!

Inputs for unique moves, specials and hypers for the new characters that are playable (Strider, Firebrand, Ghostrider, Hawkeye, Dr. Strange and Nemesis).

Also:

Wolverine:

  • Can swiss cheese be canceled into his other special moves?
  • Can you link more of his normals after Swiss Cheese?
  • Can you cancel Swiss Cheese into Beserker Charge (probably obvious)?
  • Is the recovery of Beserker Charge the same as it was in Vanilla Mahvel?
  • How much chip does swiss cheese do?
  • How is the recovery of swiss cheese?

Zero:

  • Is there a new move?
  • What are the noticeable changes for Zero?

Hulk:

  • What is the input for that super punch he has?

If you can’t remember ANYTHING, just remember to test Swiss Cheese as much as you can.

Spencer. Super Skrull. Spiderman.

Spiderman:
Frame advantage on webzip (not exact numbers, just whether + or -)
The web zip cancellability of all his specials (especially his web ball)
Whether Launcher to tiger knee H web throw still works outside the corner
Whether his one shot on phoenix still works
Whether opponents can air recover backwards or forwards after being captured in web ball

She hulk:
Range of her slide (plus maybe the range of kara command grabs)
confirmation of increased range of emerald cannon (looks farther to me)

Dr. Strange:
Air mobility options (air dash, flight, tri dash, etc)
Cancellability of normals (ie. jump, dash, superjump)
OTGs

Nemesis:
Health
Armored moves

X-23:
-Does her charged neck slice (qcf+L hold L) charge up any faster?
-Regular or charged command grab (qcf+H/qcf+H hold H) start up any faster?
-Any different hit boxes for normals?
-Can her crescent scythe (DP move) cancel into all talon attack moves (air qcf+atk)?
-Any new moves? (not counting on this)

Dante:
-Does the start up feel slower or do the invincibility frames feel less on hammer (qcf+tap L twice)?

**Doctor Doom: **
-Does his forward throw on both the ground and in the air cause a hard knockdown for OTG’s?
-Does his plasma beam assist still cause soft knockdown on hit and does it still give you enough time to combo/juggle reliably off it from a teleport/command dash move?
-Do hidden missiles (b+H) still have their tracking jammed (don’t track opponent correctly) in XF (specifically XF2 and 3)?

Doctor Strange:
-Does his beam that crumples after grapes of hoggoth+projectile combo force you to block
in any opposite direction or is it unblockable etc.? (doubt it but might as well see if the unexpected is happening)

Akuma:
-Does tatsu assist still give you enough time to land a bnb after it connects despite
no more soft knockdown?

**General: **
-Do characters like She Hulk and Sentinel still have hit boxes (especially when crouching) that are tough to throw reliably? You can sometimes be almost next to those characters when they’re crouching and they still wont get grabbed. You literally have to be humping them to grab them.

Nemesis:
-Range of Lvl 3
-Does Rocket hyper still combo if you created multiple hard knockdown previously?
-How Slow/Fast is he?
-Whether his command grabs are unblockable or not.
-Properties of his rocket projectiles.
-Whether he says STARS or not vs. Jill,Chris,Wesker or any funny lines against Hsien-ko or Frank West (if he is there by that point)
-How much hyper/super armor is in his Punching Rush hyper.
-Health?
-How good is his approach and mobility?
-Overall feeling.
-All assists

Dr. Strange:
-How the hell that bouncing projectiles off of traps works
-Health
-How good is his counter beam hyper.
-Damage dealt from normals and BnBs.
-All Assists

Firebrand:
-Is he similar to Wolverine with wings?

Ghost Rider:
-Effective zoning game with his chain whip.
-damage potential
-range of Penance Stare.

Thor:
-Signifigant changes?
-More or less health?

Dormmamu
-Significant changes?

Wesker:
-Something about throwing his glasses? either i’m an idiot, or something like this exists.

Misc.
-How well you can see non-point character’s health/red health.
-How the whole less health thing is really working out
-What characters seem to be more signifgant in potential?

Checking in from work, I’ll be updating everything once I arrive home this evening. I’ve got some more stuff I’ve found to add to the FAQ as well.

Most important thing by far is how exactly has X-Factor changed? How much shorter is it, how much damage does it do, are all the infinites still possible, does it heal the same speed, etc. I want to know specifically how is it different compared to vanilla.

Re: Super Skrull: There are rumors that he can’t self OTG anymore with Down H (air), is this true? Any new buffs aside from meteor smash in the air?

-is weskers command grabs still one frame?
-weskers shade inputs that increase his speed?
-is hulks new move an unblockable and inputs

I’m sorry to disappoint you guys like this. But I didn’t get any info about Joe or Ghost from this event. ;_; The lines were so mind-numbingly long. What happened when I played my match never crossed my mind as a plausible outcome. I picked She-hulk on point, OCV’d and that was it. I spent the match calling Shocking Pink assists, and trying to figure out why I was unable to DHC out of a hyper with one meter.

So anyway here is your “plethora” of She-hulk info (ironically the character I collected the least amount of questions about)

She-Hulk:
How is the range of her d+H slide?

It is definitely shorter… canceling into H command grab still has some nice range though.

How many hits of hyper armor does she have on the new special?

I forgot this even existed… orz

Is there increased range on Emerald Cannon hyper?

Hard to say when you were winning with just her basic bnb… What I found odd though was that she changes the direction of her follow up when you are near the corner.

Anyway, my friend recorded the footage, so i’ll put it up here and the She-hulk boards hopefully tomorrow. Maybe you guys can find more subtle changes that I couldn’t.

Sorry again if I let some of you down. Now I understand why most of the pre-release info for this game comes from multi-day events. I will never forget it.

No worries man, we’re still 3 months out so the info will definitely keep flowing in. I’m compiling things into a word document and probably going to do periodic small updates and a weekly “dump” so to speak of anything I missed while watching/reading/lurking/etc. I’ll throw it up there once I take a look at the footage and such.

A skrull player in the forums said that he can still do it after elastic slam, and in normal combos so we good. :wink:

Alright, after taking a good look at the footage, I noticed some significant changes.

-Emerald cannon DOES have more range. She-hulk’s dropkick actually passes through Dr. Strange after a mid-screen combo.

-She-hulk’s walk speed felt noticeably slow here, even if only slightly more than her Vanilla incarnation.

-On the flipside, She-hulks specials are a tad faster, especially her catapult > shooting star and :h:Heavy Strike.

-Her normals also felt slightly faster. Try doing her j. :m:,:m:,:h:,:s: in vanilla and see if it can be done as fast as in the vid. It might even be more lenient now. Everything about that bnb was smooth as silk.

-You’ll notice that doing an Emerald Cannon near the corner will make you change direction towards midscreen. An obvious disadvantage for you the player, but maybe Capcom had taken a lot of notes on Jwong’s corner mixups… who knows.

Check if Spencers H.Wire Grapple actually gives enough frame advantage to use a command throw or armor piercer
