i thought all of them are soft knockdowns in UMVC3.
Maybe SS does less hitstun.
Yeah, idk. The change log is a translation from Japanese so there’s always the chance that its a mistranslation of some kind.
I’ll be reppin’ Cap as usual, but I’m extremely interested in Nova and Iron Fist as well. My usual Cap/Spencer/IronM team should still be just as good if not even better in ultimate.

Captain’s changes look good overall with the OTG shield slash and cartwheel invincibility. I’m still not sure if I’ll be able to play this game though.

I wanna know exactly how his invincibility works, the damage nerf on 
and :h: charging star is funny. Since no one actually uses it unless to get in close on zoning and go into HCS, in which half the time charging star doesn’t even hit them.
I think that nerf is there since the and :h: charging stars will useful in combos now that they all cause soft knockdowns. So instead of ending combos with 2:l: charging stars into a hyper, we can now do a :l: charging star then a :h: one to hyper and it will do more damage.
Call range assist -> h charging star is one of the greatest things ever in vanilla i use h charming star SO much

I haven’t done that in a while, I’ve become more punishing, Steve has some solid normals, and his cr.l is amazing.
I dont have a cool Cap avatar but I been playing him with Doom assist since mvc2 so I think I’m granpa’d in and needed to chime in on those cap buffs.
Hawkeye is the character I’m most hype for and plan on making him second on my team behind Cap so CS having soft knockdown will be godlike for more damage, to DHC into Hawkeye falling arrow super, and for making it easier to confirm into HCS when my friends stay home and we play online.
CS causing untechable knockdown is great for keeping opponents locked down if they have a superior zoning team and i have closed the distance and SS air tech time for opponent getting reduce mean Cap’s zoning AND rushdown game’s got buffed wow.
All that practice time and years playing Cap and Doom together are finally coming together in the most fantastic way with Doom getting buffed to high heaven as well! :wonder:

Btw been scrubbin it in the Marvel series since Marvel Super Heroes, Only really played Iron Man and Cap, since day 1. I don’t know if that counts for anything…
You could always cheat and use War Machine colors on Ironman with Cap and Nova.
As for me I’ll try to mix in some Capcom characters sometimes. Cap/Nova with someone like Vergil as the anchor. Wish I could get back Captain Commando and use him as an anchor ;(. I could easily see Commando being an honorary member of the Avengers lol.
First team I am trying out is Virgil, Cap, Dr. Strange. Don’t know the order yet. Got some mix ups and combos in mind from all the videos I watched.
