Ya, I saw the war of psychology played out in that match-up. When Nuki made it look like he was going for grab to cr. lk > legs was amazing. Sadly, he tried to throw on wake up and ate a srk, fadc > ultra.
that 15 hit combo daigo did to comeback against shiro in he first round was freaking sick. can’t wait to see the rest. was hoping to see the itabashi one.

i assume you’re talking about the daigo shiro match, since being an abel player and from what ive seen from above average players play, meaty fa on wakeup is pretty useful for abel, with all the damage he can follow up with. its a high risk high reward move though…
They should make the Umehara Ryu super weak and force Daigo to use him ^^
oh and i think they removed the video already.

So, the DVDs only have 1 match from each set? Is it safe to assume they will probably release a separate DVD with all the matches? If so, I’ll hold out for that if anything.
I think Shiro landed his level 3 focus because if they back dash from it he can probably dash and tornado. Just a guess, I dunno wtf Abel is supposed to do.

There are also some websites that let you watch videos without registering. The one I’ve used is http://d.hatena.jp/video/niconico/sm7802626 (the url is for the daigo video but you can watch other movies as well if you just change the smXXXXX part in the end). That website seems to be down at the moment though but as I said, there are other similar services as well, I just can’t remember any right now.
I managed to download the movie before they removed it but I can’t upload it on youtube as it’s too long and all my programs have troubles cutting it in pieces for some reason. I guess I could put it on rapidshare or something…
