Well he did play Guile in HDR at Evo

Daigo fell one short of sweeping the competition again. Daigo did struggle against Mago and other good Sagats for a little while, but he seems to have a good grasp of that match up now.

As for the Abel match up. I don’t really think he’s struggling with that match up, he was just against a really good player who got the better of him this time. Maybe Shiro has Daigo’s number, who knows. But we only know for a fact that they’ve played 4 times with Shiro winning 3 of those matches. Not enough to make a call yet on that one.

got the mag today, and seriously, gotta hand it to daigo, i thought he surely was not going to go 4-1 against all these great players. once again, he had the same result the first time he did the kumite special.

but gotta agree with reno, daigo vs shiro was the best match.
