I just uploaded the fix for the flip-flopped BA/HA labels on iOS. It is actually only affecting the iOS 7 version, so if you are still on iOS 6 (like I am on my old iPhone 4) then they will be correct.
My previous update went through in like 2-3 days so hopefully this one goes quick too!
EDIT:
I also got the Evil Ryu cr.hk error fixed. I just saw it was one of the changes from AE to USF4, and I guess I just missed that one. I saw that I got the change for the cr.mk block advantage, but I just glanced over that other one I guess. I will get the Android fix for that in this evening as well.
Yeah sorry about that. I have an iPhone 4 on iOS 7 so it just wasn’t obvious to me that the label on the iOS 7 was different on the frame data. I even saw it in the screen shot on the listing for iOS 7, but when I went to test it out on my phone tonight I didn’t see it and it was a head scratcher moment. Then I realized it was iOS 7 only that was messed up.
Thanks for being patient though and it should hopefully go through the review process quick since it’s just an update.
Cool I’ll take a look at that tonight. I don’t have my phone with me right now so I can’t check it, but are you sure they aren’t under a different name such as the unique attack name? But it could just be missing. I got an email about 2 errors with Gouken, so I’ll make the updates tonight for these ones.
The forum links for Hugo, Elena, Poison and Rolento links to the wrong game.
The input for Dudley’s Step Straight is wrong, it should be forward + hard punch.
Thanks. Apparently they added “ultra-” to the urls for the new characters, which weren’t there when I initially created it. Should be a quick fix tonight, along with the error in Dudley’s Step Straight.
Okay the update on Android with the forum links for those 4 characters has been uploaded, as well as Dudley’s wrong input for Step Straight (had f+MP instead of f+HP).
And as with the iOS stuff, once the current update is through the review process, this update will be uploaded that same day!
hey purbeast, long time no see, good work on the guide.
any chance of implementing any of the functionality of ssf4ae bits? you should go look at their frame data app for ae2012.
their killer feature is that youre able to select a matchup from a pulldown menu, and select a move, and it will show you all possible punishes according to frame data (of course this does not account for pushback.)
if you did that…your app would be broken haha.
I bought your guide to support good work. i will go through it when i have some time today.
i posted about it on twitter, got some feedback actually
Javits Arias @jav1ts 9m @nycfurby 1st thing I notice is that some data is already wrong. Both the official app and this one have rog dash as 16f when it’s really 18.
I won’t be adding hit and hurtboxes. Those are Capcom licenses images/graphics so I will not be adding those. Plus they take up a ton of space.
As far as #2, I have contemplated it but I can’t think of a very user-friendly way to include things like this as far as an interface goes. I’m open to suggestions though.
Sorry but I don’t plan on doing any Windows phone development at this time It’s not out of the picture, but it’s not in the near future most likely. Just being honest
What’s up man? Long time no talk. I’ve never seen the AE Bits app you are talking about, but I can take a look at it. That tool does sound very nice, as does the FA Tool that is out there, which I haven’t used either.
As far as that feedback goes, thanks man. I try to go through and scrub the framedata here on SRK every few months to see if I have obvious errors, but with so much data it’s just hard for me NOT to miss much. The AE data (that was ported to the USF4 app, but then I applied the USF4 changes from capcom-unity) came from that guide that your girlfriend sent me a couple years ago, which I then updated when the 2012 version came out. So I can definitely see how there could be errors in there still.
