Splitting the fanbase between 5 platforms is not a great idea.
I’ve heard the lag in general for all games is better on the new systems.
Capcom is broke and SF has barely any casual fans / money.
I’m sure that Capcom is keeping the next gen console release of USF4 secret, remember Ayano mentioned that USF4 is considered a new game and not just an update ?! wouldn’t be suprised if the next version will have something extra (characters or stages or improved graphics).
The only thing that might piss me off is having the next gen version released later and giving the finger to the people who got the disc release or DLC for PS3/360 USF4 !!
I’m 100% confident that there will be a release of USF4 on X1/PS4. I believe it will come out like 6 months or a year after the 360/PS3 versions, so that they can double dip since Capcom is all about the money. Considering how PC like the PS3 and X1 are, and they have a PC version coming at some point, that is what makes me 100% confident it will be on X1/PS4 at some time.
I know that me personally will not buy it on PS3 or 360, but will get it on X1 or PS4 when it does eventually come out on it.
I hope Capcom doesn’t make another fighting game. Ever.
Unless its 2D.
If it does get announced for next gen I will have an excuse to dive in. Nothing on next gen interests me at the moment.

6.7 million copies of SF4 and SSF4 sold world wide and then I read someone from Capcom saying they won’t make SF5 cuz the game didn’t sell as well as they hoped and people in this thread saying SF has no money?

Capcom is already developing a new gen fighting game according to insiders at NeoGaf. It’s a good bet they’re right.
this is one of those instances where Capcom is proving why they have a lack of money. AE should have had a port ready at launch of the Xbone & PS4.
Or it could be after market analysis they determined it’s more cost effective to release one more update on last gen than to port it for the new consoles.
