I’m not worried, I’m pretty sure there isn’t a video of me out there. Unless Vanilla boss mode seth was uploading videos when I played SF4 in 09 for the first time on a friend’s xbox. >.>
It’d be pretty hilarious if they made the CPU occasionally upload replays when they win.
Win 40 matches in a row vs CPU testing out some stuff, lose 1 match, uploaded. Noooooooo
that upload time argument has to be an excuse, i think it has more to do with consoles not being able to properly handle 720p encoding , not sure wich one, maybe both , i can hardly imagine Capcom saying that the ps3/x360 are slows ass machines that cant even handle 720 encoding
or Sf4 engine limitation in relation to encoding ? i personally like to save replays and make videos myself , so whatever, but its still a nice option to have
The encode quality of the 3SOE uploads was really bad. And if they can’t encode 3s at its native resolution I can’t imagine it’s anything except capcom being whack.
To be fair, it’s from the same company that thought that stretching a 224p image to fit into 720p resolution and then applying a pixel aprox. smudge filter is the same as “High Definition”
thats a lot of shit. im thinking the digital will just be character changes or something bare bones, and you’ll have to wait for the disk to get all this extra content. i cant imagine it being 10gigs or some shit
The only high file-size parts will be the new character data, alternate costume data, music data, and fmv’s of the new characters + USFIV opening and maybe credits if it’s in a movie format. Everything else shouldn’t use that much size, including the new features.
i dunno. i was just taking a stab that it would be pretty hefty. i know those map packs that i dl for fpses can get pretty big, and this seems like way more content than what i get in one of those
but then again i have no idea how much of a diff in data there is between a map and a character, or a characters frame data
It should be around 1.5 to 2.0GB margin. 5 Characters, 6 stages, new songs are new assets that weren’t on the disk already(especially if your talking Super). Then with the new modes take up a few hundred MB. If the Animated Endings are uncompressed on PS3, then they could take up alittle more space. <…Not sure if the new opening will be included in the digital update, but the new menus should.
I think the only thing that’s left is to confirm if new trails with be added for all 44 characters.
