Its only fair if his combos work on everybody…Its a combo not a situational move its his primary focus on attack…his rolls wee nerf and he can’t get in anymore like that but fix that kick and Abel will rank higher in the tourney scene…

This game was made to be easy…I disagree with that post on scrubs…Street Fighter 2 HD remix was the pinnacle of footsies for the 09ers… basically people quit the game because they can’t get away with 85% of the crap that did in sstf4. Don’t respect anyone in this game their people just like you
i wholeheartedly think that sf4 is much stronger footsie game than sf2. Sf2 is the king of zoning, and pure spacing…as that is ALL the game is, and that is why i like the game. But in terms of pure “footsies,” as in using limbs to fight for space, sf4 is much superior.
And i wouldn’t say the sf4 is “easy,” just more accessible. Which was the main problem with sf3s. Sf3s is gold to really good players, but it is ONLY good to those really good players. Like 90% of 3s players can’t even Compete with the better players, like every round would be perfect or near perfect. Not to mention because it is so hard, there is a big loss in players. Like i know for a fact I would have NEVER gotten into fighting games if it wasn’t for sf4 easier inputs. I was a complete scrub that had no idea how to play fighting games, but still got hooked to sf because i was still having fun rolling my face across my gamepad with friends that were also scrubs with me. THAT is not to say that sf4 is not “easy.” Even with the accessibility, it does not change the fact that 90%, maybe even 95% considering how stupidly well top16 players(at big majors) are playing nowadays, are MUCH worse at the game that the good players. Assuming that the good player(not even a great player that places in tourneys) is not autopiloting, the bad player still cannot “get away with 85% of the crap [that is in ssf4].”
mang calm broh, lucky that abel forums even gets a few posts a month lol. some of the other forums are straight up dead. The really good contributors like HAV and Strider probably have irl stuff. If not, well the forums never really offered them much in first place i would think. They were just helping out the ppls that were starting up, and doing something like that wouldn’t last anyways. Like the only reason i post on forums is because i got a lot better Because of the posts, and now that I am at a decent level, thought i would help some of the ppl. That said, I still mostly scrub. I consider myself at like the 91% percentile at BEST. 91 Sounds good, but i think that one would have to be around 94-5% to even get out of pools in big majors nowadays lololol.
and btw, it is not just the fgc communities that are filled with “these kinds of players,” it is EVERY community. In the first place, there aren’t that many people in general that would apply themselves to a single hobby to a point where they can truly consider themselves competitive, as in being able to hold his/her own vs known top contenders(even if they can’t win) or be able to be at that level of popularity. Like how many people irl around you can you say are actually THAT into something. It is inevitable for communities to be filled with those ppls, Especially if it is a constantly growing/big community.
so when splurg mentions “natural ignorance” it still applies. ppl don’t know better if they actually don’t know much. The arrogance may come from them actually seeing results and wanting to share their opinion. If you can, just be cool about it and try to be constructive, if not, do what I do most of the times: Face Palm irl and ignore for time being lololol. Seriously, if you want to see some “REALLY?!?! LOLWAUT? these ppls are Reh-Tards!” comments, watch the sf matches on youtube and look at the youtube comments and/or comments section on Eventhubs.
I think Sf2 is a harder game in terms of footsies because the cast had legit anti airs and it took 5 hits to kill everyone, but I see your point. 3s didn’t really get its proper shine imo in America because it was tooo hard. I played casually and was okay at th game but nothing to brag about. I agree on the actions of some people on these forums are over the top and stuff but its that superiority complex people have by doing what they think is better than you and its really nothing when its broken down

Juicebox made a good point in a recent recorded rant during some KOF play.
Ultra SF4 balance changes aren’t going to balance the characters, they are just going to shuffle the gimmicks around.
Juicebox doesn’t play this game anymore and he’s happy playing kof…he’s done playing sstf4, but everyone in Ultra seems to be more offensive with the changes that’s already happening, so expect Abel to get some surprises to his game

And yeah, Juicebox says a lot of things. He likes to shit on SF4 a lot more now because he can and plays KOF. Don’t get me wrong… I love KOF and think it is a better game, but calm the fuck down. We get it, you don’t like the game.
I personally think Abel needs a yoga limb step kick, and if you disagree with me FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING PLEBIAN RIFFRAFF TRASH… am I doing it right? 
How are you guys feeling about the new system changes for abel. i feel that double ultra combos will be pretty scary for abel and lot of other characters (Zangief, Gen). Red Focus attack should help abel out a little also.
Double Ultra = Personally, I can’t think of any match-up in which that becomes something important, especially with the damage reduction.
Red parrys can help counter Ex Fireballs which might be a big deal.
I think red focus is mostly useful to escape hardblockables/unblockables but then again I dont know the full properties of the red focus…
I dont think the damage reduction is worth picking double ultra, at least for abel. Plus AA-ing with U1 is more badass. lol
