Wouldn’t be surprised if Infiltration switches to Ken if the buffs that got announced actually stay with Ken.
I always played Yun/Ken, and was seriously leaning over to Sakura as a secondary. Then I saw the possible changes for Ken on event hubs and I got wet. Lmao
The current top tiers are getting slightly nerfed, and Ken is getting ridiculous buffs, you can bet money all the “Ken fans” will be on that boat.
Ps: I started SF4 when AE12 came out and chose Yun despite people saying he was now GG I don’t wanna win tier, so I’m not a tier whore 
At least luffy won’t have to time his reversal anymore so that alone will help him not have to worry about his defense as much. What is even better is that rose is finally getting a damage buff

**SF4 is run by retards. **The ONLY important factors to a character are:
- Far linkable normal
- Combo damage
- Dive kick
- Speed
The current metagame boils down to getting a knockdown, then doing an ambiguous jump to start a vortex. That IT. That’s what makes a top tier. Crapcom doesn’t realize this, top players aren’t addressing this, but this is basically why characters like Chun, Dudley, Hakan, Deejay, El Fuerte, Vega, Rose, T Hawk, Honda and Abel will never be top tier. Changing the wake-up game is crucial, but won’t be enough to stop the retardation of this game ATM with hyperactive, dive-kicking, vortexing bullshit flloating to the top, every time…
Ultra SF4 Tier List:
Top: Akuma, Cammy, Ibuki, Seth, Yun, Yang, Sakura.
Bottom: Dudley, Gouken, Bison, Chun… (insert any char without ambiguous jump-ins and no far linkables.)
That’s why Fei Long and Adon are in the top 5 of AE 2012.
to be fair all of adon’s combos lead into an ambiguous jumpin back into an ambiguous jumpin.
Is Hakan now a top tier?
Get a knockdown - do an ambiguous jump in.
Last I checked that is like 80% of how THawk wins matches. LP SPD Vortex all day.
Deejay has the ghetto vortex with kneeshot / fjMK combo to crMK hard knockdown.
El Fuerte is all about ambiguity. The guy has like 4-5 crossups including a crossup special attack that causes a hard knockdown.
Vega is the original vortex character with cross up slash or izuna drop setups. He just isn’t as good at it in SF4 as he was in ST for multiple reasons. But he started the vortex before Akuma was even a character.
I find Abel’s roll stuff to be pretty damn ambiguous at times. Plus, wasn’t Abel considered top tier or just outside of top tier in Super?
Deejay gets ambig stuff off of lk sobat and MGU combos too, he’s just shitty.
It’s funny reading the Event Hubs comments, some people TRULY believe in their mind and heart they know what they are talking about.
A bunch of people saying “rest in peace Fei Long” gives me a headache. He’s A+/A Tier now, looking at that final change list and taking into account the new USF4 mechanics/new possible future tech that might be discovered for Fei Long, he’s going A-/B+ the absolute lowest. #TierListExpert
He has like 2 buffs, 3 neutrals/adaptables <-- a new term hopefully it catches on( most notable adaptable is the 4 frame cr.LK-it still combos into light punches), and 2 nerfs, not to mention one of the nerfs won’t do shit to his gameplan. (The Ex command grab one, he’s even lucky to have a command grab to begin with)
Sorry for the rant just hate Bison, Akuma, and Fei Long players.
While I don’t think any of his nerfs isn’t deserved, he did get 6 of them; EX Command grab is no longer frame perfect off a cancel; command grab scales combos; FADC Flame Kick is -5; Cr.lk is slower and can’t chain into itself; LP Rekka is shorter; Rekkas do less stun.
True, those are big nerfs now that i think about it more, but he’s definitely viable and no lower than B tier, no way in hell. A part of me is saying now its finally other characters chance to shine in what might be final iteration of the game, but i also understand that every player wants to win too, regardless of what character they’re using. #Danshouldbeabletowintourneys

fei long, akuma, and cammy are still awesome just because they have awesome tools. good walkspeeds, good pokes, good jumps, useful ultras, good traps, the whole package. they were just straight up cheap before if you knew the tech. they are charactesr who do not have horrible matchups. they can play great neutral but have amazing pressure options on top of that. the game has changed in a way so they are just not ridiculous now once in a knockdown / in the corner w/ fei.
even looking at guile and people saying he is top tier, he still has really bad matchups. he will always be garbage against Seth. i dotn know much about makoto but i can see certain charactesr shitting on her as well. cammy fei akuma are still going to be characters you dont really need an alt for.
if you play pretty much anyone but those 3 you would be wise to learn a 2nd character who IS one of those 3 to cover your bad matches.
