Do you think it’s the more lenient inputs making it easy to buffer in the SRK even if mistimed slightly?
Also I remember reading somewhere that the number of frames that V.Ken’s shoryuken is invincible is different from Ken’s. Haven’t tested it myself but that could be the reason.
Yes. Honestly if something in USF2 made it so Rog’s super is no longer safe on block from invincible attacks like SRKs then anyone with an invincible special should be able to do it against him.
I think Rog’s super can be vulnerable between the 4th and 5th hits in ST without the usual “super lag” happening. Seems to happen based on distance and possibly other factors such as whether it’s in the corner. Deejay can punish after the 4th blocked hit with LK upkicks when it does happen as can Ken with DP/super.
Online data doesn’t show any character needs to be banned. The character with the highest BP right now is Violent Ken, but it’s by a very small amount. Him, Balrog, Chun Li and Ryu are all within 300BP of each other.
If you ban Akuma, Violent Ken and Evil Ryu preemptively you should host a Super Turbo tournament instead.
I’ve only run across 2 V.Ken’s that made me want to quit for the night. When they have the dash DP/throw 50/50 going it’s very hard to deal with. The vast majority of V…Ken’s aren’t on that level.
Shin Akuma isn’t even playable online because most if not all, ban him online, and nobody really picks normal Akuma because normal one air fireball Akuma is overrated…
I really don’t get you. Vega jumping on his fence destroys his walldive game. Vega gets heavily penalized if he lands on his own stage. That’s obviously bad. Also no one in their right mind would advocate allowing Shin Akuma being allowed in anything other than silly casuals. His fucking HP fireball does 50% damage. Jesus.
I would think that’s exactly why he doesn’t see an issue with it - it’s not OP, it’s a handicap. If someone wants to gimp their own character, then let them.
