There’s no doubt CH is still broken if the total animation frames remain reduced. Vega seems further back on the drawing board than some other characters at this point. Perhaps he has great match-ups against the 5 new characters? Seems like he could blow them up, but I haven’t really given it any thought.
I doubt it, Rolento especially seems like he could be a nightmare for Vega.

They’re just being stupid about CH trying to make it something it isn’t. I think it’s because people complain that Vega doesn’t have enough offense so they’re trying to make CH offensive since a hit will score us meterless 180 (unless they nerf that, too. why is a low mid getting nerfed in a game everyone except the top is getting buffed in??) Why CH, I don’t know. There are a number of other options they could give us to make his offensive pressure a little better without breaking a move and making it dumb. + at close range but punishing us for using it over low attacks at a long range? It doesn’t make any sense.
None of his 2nd build makes any sense at all.

Based on my conversation with Combofiend (described earlier in this thread), I’ll actually go ahead and make that assumption. Outside of balance considerations, the move is visually broken in its current state.
