So… that crMK is also something that I don’t expect to last until the final build.
And… he was able to link crMK into crMK easilty? He could’ve linked due to it being meaty. Even in footsies it happens…
To tell you the truth I think that its easier that the “Counter Hit” pop-up was bugged and thus not poping up when a counter hit happened than crMK being 5f of startup/+6 on hit.
Super’s damage and U2 startup nerfs were expected.
But I am really curious about the state of Cosmic Heel, any news regarding this move?
if +6 on hit, combo to u2, if 5 frame startup, more powerful hit confirm combo. i rather have the latter

We could crLP crLP crMK xx EX FBA to solve to an extent the problem of EX FBA whiffing crouching opponents.
clHP crMK xx FBA for the extra 20 of dmg when you are clawless.
Not to mention the improvement of its usage in footsies.

Terrible matchups will continue to be terrible while good matchups will be even easier.

what would you propose that would fix our bad matchups though? we are already getting a cr.hp and ex.st buff. i can’t think what else they can do to make dive kick characters easier to deal with. i still think rufus would still be a bad match, but not AS bad.
I won’t be nearly as scared of Rufus with this invincible EX ST. He’ll think twice about resetting frame trap pressure with an instant dive kick when I can react to it by press F + 2K. I won’t have to do an extremely risky jump back HP to beat dive kicks anymore when I have meter. And it’ll put an end to all the YOLO IMMA DIVE KICK ACROSS THE SCREEN CUZ I’M RUFUS.

Not really. If she does it outside of a frame trap, LK Scarlet Terror will prob be as good an answer to that as its ever been. Maybe even s.hk/c.HP. Cammy using Hooligan outside of very specific setups has never been a problem, never. In a frame trap, we miiiight have to burn a meter to get out of the frame trap reset, depending how fast the dive kick comes out after Hooligan.
It will probably add a layer to her gimmick forward throw Hooligan setup tho. People might have to legit reversal out instead of reversal crouch normal. LK ST used to beat that every time no matter what she did. Now she might force us to burn EX ST if she can turn it into a meaty dive kick, and if she catches us with no meter it’s probably a free pressure start.
EX ST severely relieve every bad Vega matchup, possibly turn them into good matchups.
