Akuma, Ammy, Viper, Cap, Chris, Dante, Strange, Dorm, Doom, Felicia, Frank, Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Jill, MODOK, Mag, Nova, Phoenix, Phoenix, Ryu, Spencer, Spidey, Storm, Strider, Skrull, Taskmaster, Thor, Trish, Vergil, Wesker, X-23, Zero.
So get use to having a limited roster. We’re back in Marvel 2 territory here.

I heard GR had one, I’m betting Haggar and Akuma are still good even with slight nerfs.
Vergil in Devil Trigger mode has a completely invincible assist. There you go.

seriously a lot of characters do look way more viable now in ultimate. Im really interested to see some of the synergy people come up with for characters. i can see this game having much longer life span than mvc3. well at least until the first major glitch is found.

I’m currently envisioning myself playing some combination of Strange, Vergil, Strider, Doom, Mag, Wright, Sent, or Dante. I’m also contemplating stealing Zero from Ron. That character has no business getting buffed…
Ghost Rider and Iron Fist have some good assists, but Iron Fist isn’t looking AS tight on point.
EDIT: Ron, definitely not back in MvC2 territory. The percentage of viable characters is literally exponentially higher.

Phoenix Wright in turnabout has completely invincible assists, seems this time you need to fulfill certain requirements to get broke assists this time.

lol, it was pretty clear he was mocking you guys when he listed the majority of the cast and said “limited roster” and “mvc2 territory”. And dog, Andy, we long been known that Zero was about to become TOO godlike with these buffs. He was already only a couple steps away from wolverine in homosexuality, at this point, he is retarded good.
If you wanna follow JWong’s advice you’d pick Frank with Shopping Cart, but I doubt it’s really gonna be all that good (I don’t think it has any invincibility, just JWong talkin out his ass). Isn’t Nemesis supposed to have an assist with Hyper Armor?
