I just realized… Drew, are you supposed to be the up and coming player on the rise? So you are on the rise of being up and coming? What does that even make you lol. I know it’s just a joke but I only now really read that and tried to think about what it means.

Also, Jay never goes to tournaments. There are now two different Js around here, if everyone wasn’t aware. Even though Jay (the black one, the classic, the OG) is also supposed to be just ‘J’ I’m gonna keep referring to him as Jay because it makes it slightly easier to know who is who.
To answer your question, he’s not quite up and coming, and not quite on the rise, but man oh man… to answer your question I have no idea.
And you know, I’m gonna take a moment to call you out Drew. Pretty often when you leave here on Tuesdays you’ll be like “Oh we should get up some time!” to me or Logan, and my response is generally “I don’t do shit so let me know when!” yet you NEVER have. So I’m calling on you to come get dat beat down (in SF). Today, tomorrow, whenever.

no i dont tourney decided a while ago when i got sick. i dont have the time or money to go and do well. And most importantly games have to be a distraction from my god awful real life, and not a new source of frustration. But i always try to help others anyway i can. On that not ron do you have some free time around 6 today.

Chris A: You’re officially a Tier Whore now 
The netcode is way way better then KOF XII…XII was completely unplayable online. SFIV and BB are really the only fighting games out right now that have better netcode I think. I’ve had matches on 3 bars that were pretty solid in our region. And if you’re playing someone local with a good connection you’re definitely good. With KOF XII it didn’t matter if it was local or not - the code was garbage. Worse then Tekken 6 when that game was released…and that my friend, is pretty “fucking” bad.
I have it on PS3 because my 360 for some reason constantly dcs online now. By the way I was using wireless so I figure and actual ethernet cable connection is probably very playable.
That said it still isn’t SFIV or BB level…but truth be told I don’t think there’s anything else out there that is. Hopefully they will keep working with the netcode until it gets as close to SFIV level as possible.
Buy this fucking game…seriously - MK is akward to many, I get it (MK is definitely its own animal, but I grew up playing it so I’m used to its physics etc.) But KOF XIII…the core game itself is a fighting game wet dream. Oh and if you love link combos in SFIV than you’re going to eat this shit up. All the different jump ranges add a lot to spacing and zoning as well…damn I love this game XD
Yeah I probably will. I’ll have to get it on 360 though because I still haven’t dual-modded my stick like a scrub.
Although Gundam Extreme Vs. came out a few days ago, so I might have to import that first…

I still can not endorse online play for KOF. T6 in its current state runs circles around it. Unless they patch it and get on the ball, this game will sadly get no time in my xbox. I really want to endorse this game b/c I have been a KOF Phag since it was created back in 94. Hell I had the NEO GEO home cart for 94 back in the day and other fighter titles. Online play is going to make or break me for the future b/c I do not get out much anymore.
