Magneto is damn near the same. Suction is a slight difference and his combos are slightly more difficult. Other than that I wouldn’t say he is SOO entirely different or hard for that matter.

For that matter Spencer seems to be better than he was before and he was definitely top 10 in the cast from Vanilla.

I dunno; Viper is def higher than C tier, and Sent needs to be lower imo.

What do you guys think about all these random vids coming out with people showing off their “new tech”? I’m finding that it seems anyone with capture equipment and a copy of UMvC3 can make a vid and have it posted to SRK. I’m also finding that in some of these vids, the tech isn’t even valid. It’s very disconcerting, especially with a lot of new gamers coming in every day and thinking this shit is legit when it’s not.

We might have to institute some sort of peer review process like in the scientific community so that when new tech comes out, someone has to review and confirm the findings before the vid is posted. This shit is gonna get out of hand soon.

Man, that Iron Fist ‘guide’ that got put up a while back by FM.Jago or whoever was flat out wrong sometimes. Not only were the combos bad (or even had the wrong notation), but the dude didn’t even talk about A LOT of stuff, and was showing off ‘kara’ tech that had been posted by someone at least a week prior. Serious, peer review sounds like something SRK frontpage could use. Go CHM1045L on those asses.

Was looking at Andy’s list and saw ‘Coon’ in C-tier, then tried to think of all the black people in this game, then realized that number is low as fuck, then wished for War Machine to come back.

But my question is: is Akuma black?

For those of you that want to take these games seriously, getting together for one night a week is not going to cut it. We need to go back to AT LEAST Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus a weekend day or something.

(I’m not planning on playing seriously but I’d still like to play more!)

And really, play as often as you want to play! There are lots of people around here, finding games is not hard. I generally play something at least 3 nights a week - and before you mention that I live with Logan note that we don’t play often at all because he’s a douchebag and would rather watch his WoW character play itself than get crushed by me in anything.

I’m hosting Tomorrow, but i’ll be on the road for the next monthish for work. So Tomorrow and the Tourney are my last hurrah until January.

They have also asked me to test an Alcohol Monitor for work… Effing. Awesome.

Who says I have to play that game seriously to be the best? :coffee: I’ve started actually requesting games from people though, so I’ll be playing a lot more.

(I actually did plan on being there, but I got a birthday surprise that kept me from attending. Next time, though.)
