No worries man, I know how that is. I spent most of my matches going HOW DO I BLOCK THIS SHIT? After a while, it felt like I was starting to handle the Firebrand mirror, but Wesker’s L/R mixups kept me basically up-backing a lot. I need to get better with Hawkeye; he’s fun to play, but my day 0 Hawkeye has no neutral game and I can’t start a combo yet.
I refuse to go back to Wolverine; Firebrand is infinitely more fun to play to me. Thinking about Dr. Strange, but need to learn more about his neutral game. I wish online play was a tad more responsive. It’s good at times, but I can feel the input lag, and I don’t want to practice that way.
Anyone want a copy of UMvC3 on 360? Online play is shit and I never step into training mode, no point in me actually owning the game. $35 or best offer!

me not playing a game does not prevent me from beating drew in it when he calls me out to a challenge (recent examples, AE, Soul Calibur). To be fair, I guess I do SORTA play AE.
So I just got out of the hospital yesterday with my son - we’ve been living there for the past 10 days. He has a rare disease called Kawasaki Disease. You can look it up if you’re curious. He’s much better now though so I’m happy about that.
I haven’t been able to make it out to games because of all this. Very stressful and very tiring.
I did pick up KOF XIII and played it for the first time last night. On decent connections the net code is very playable - its better then XII by leaps and bounds in that regard. Not quite SF4 good but not bad at all. I had some trouble finding matches… I think it was a bad move to release it so close to the release of Umvc3.
In any case I love it so I will definitely be on KOF XIII and MK from here on out…
Team so far is looking very different from my usual mains. Kyo, Joe Higashi, Mature/Ash/Duo Lon. Can’t seem to decide on a 3rd main, but Kyo is just too fun not to use. Matt, we’ll probably both be running him. I hope the DLC characters end up being legal for tournaments. 98 Iori looks sweet. I have played against one online from Japan but we don’t get him until December.
Who’s going to the next few tournaments? I’m pretty psyched for the upcoming Jacksonville one. Had a chat with Tyger last night, the turnout is probably gonna be good.
Going to the Tallahassee one as I’m sure Drew will require someone to run something while he… does whatever it is he does during tournaments. Not sure if I’ll be competing, too much shit and not enough p.mode time. Will be in Orlando for the Jax tourney sucks cause I really wanted to make it out.
