Ultimate MVC3 Strategies/News Guide. UPDATE: Viper's S cancel infinite, Chrisis vs. Champ FT10

A bit a old vid, but it’s important with chip monsters like Morrigan/Dormmamu chipping your health. Is there a significant difference between blocking and not pushblocking. There is also a HUGE different from when you block standing and crouching.

Take all of that in mind, do not forget that pushblocking extend your crossover counter window. You don’t need to X-Factor to save a character, you can call just pushblock>Crosscounter instead.

Isn’t the difference from stand and crouching because of more drones hitting you? I can’t imagine that mattering for say Chaotic Flame.

Hey guys, I play Vergil/Hulk/Taskmaster and Wolverine/Taskmaster/Vergil.
I’m having trouble dealing against someone’s Zero. His incoming mixup is really strong, and hits the lightning loops about 90% of the time.
He super jumps a lot and use either dashes or lightning, shoot buster then lightning again. I try to jump after him and catch zero but if I get hit, my character is pretty much dead. If I block it, I don’t know how to catch him and he continues to mix me up. If I stay on the ground and block, I’m a sitting duck.

You don’t want to be put in that situation. That’s really all anyone is going to tell you. There is no reliable way to corner block zero on incoming. Just don’t get hit :shy:

Zero players insist that his incoming isn’t that hard to block as people say…

Well, yeah I know. And that’s where the problem lies. How would I catch him with my first character?

One time I blocked the lightning cross up on incoming, and he ends up in front of me even though I blocked it as a cross up. Reminds me of SFxT :looney:

Here.

This should help you out.
