OH MY GOD!!! that shit has me hype! ironmans krispy combos look to not have such a range issue cause of faster activating flight, unibeam is BUFF! and DAT COMBO! did 95% of she hulks health.

that modified krispy was dope though… he did flight lmh unfly h (not down h) s as the starter and then didnt have a problem with hitstun scaling throughout the rest of the combo… it looks like capcom did buff him overall instead of nerfing him… so pleased!

Crazy thing, is we haven’t even seen what we can do with the air dash stuff yet, and the best thing we had in Vanilla looks even better. If 2B>5C>fly>jB works (I suspect it will), then the damage on krispy is gonna be really, really, high.

yeah and his airdash instant low is doable from a higher height as well now so no longer have to jump INSTANT addf low anymore… it basically looks as if they changed him up from an “instant” high/slow low to an instant low/slow high. which is much easier to apply. looking sooo good all around.

Lol, this is the first time we’ve seen someone who’s good with IM play in Ultimate, and all that stuff we were worried about doesn’t really seem that bad.

well the thing to remember is that utube runs at 30fps so everything looks faster on it. but you could be right… easiest way to tell would the distance he got on his dash before he canceled into an attack… no/less distance = faster cancel time, normal distance means utube is tricking us.

i think the only reason that the first otg bombs into avenger whiffed is just because nemesis has such a fucking gigantic hitbox. the bombs just popped him up waaaaaay too high. they did look to have a tad less hitstun though.

clearly not a soft knockdown, but the hard knockdown normally lasts longer than that… hmmmm…

anyway iron man is tight still everyone acting like he’s all garbage, looks just as solid if not more solid to me because of the better use of projectiles and (what looks like) an easier high low mixup off trijumps <3

that might not be entirely true. get an assist that pops them up quite a bit (like jam session). end air combo, assist+bombs, repulsor spread, bombs otg, proton. gonna hurt like crazy. alright, i’m hype for iron man again.

yeah that spread knockdown looks weird… not a soft but not a hard either… strange. maybe it has otg capabilities but just with harder timing? only reason i could see it existing.

Only thing I could thing of that would even let you OTG (if you can) would be doom rockets, Chris mine, or V.Joe bomb, none of which I am too anxious to put on an IM team. Though I am playing around with Doom rockets and finding some stuff.

Not too bad. Krispy combos, “hard” knockdown on Repulser spread, and what seems like less startup on repulsar blast and unibeam. The only concerning thing seems to be the difficulty following up Smart Bomb OTG, but I have a hunch that’s an across-the-board systemic change that will effect everyone who relies on OTG combos.

I don’t quite understand the OTG > followup discussion right now. Iron Avenger missing after Smart Bombs is already a common sight in vanilla MvC3 when it’s timed wrongly. Don’t remember exactly if it’s the case for when you cancel too early or too late, but it’s definitely there.

I can tell you this much. The amount of hitstun OTG Smart bombs deal after a lengthy combo in UMVC3 looks much, much lower. Also, OTG smart bombs knock the enemy noticeably higher. I think the end result is less comboability at mid range, but more opportunities to reset. Hopefully, more characters play like this instead of just ToDing everyone w/ little meter.

otg window is narrowed in ultimate from what i see, but i do like the fact that it knocks them higher for a better mixup potential, i’ve always wanted to do some filthy (and easier) iron man resets
