So turns out even otis who sat down with the game has no idea what firebrands install hyper does. Maybe it does nothing in this current build of the game, only time will tell. When Kitty beat her up? Are you talking about the time Emma thought Cassandra Nova was controlling her, but it was really just her making it all up in her head, and she used Kitty to get Nova’s body. If there was another time id like to know, considering how interesting that whole dynamic was in the story I am thinking of.

Kitty smashed her head into the mirror that was on the wall… but yeah that storyline. That kitty fight was the shit. I loved seeing Emma take one to the face 
But again, I am just not a fan of Emma. What I am saying is just my personal opinion, you have every right to like her 
But I would love to see kitty in MvC3, that would get their creative juices going for a moveset.

It’s not as cut and dry as that. Capcom can still request fighters. Marvel just has confirm/deny authority, and can make their own suggestions.

Well, that’s all I needed to hear to get my hopes right back up to unreasonable levels.
I watched the interview. Be more clear by what list you’re talking about. Capcom got denied for Venom. The Cyclops part was accurate. They just didn’t try to use him.
… The list that Marvel said OK to? There wasn’t any other list mentioned, iirc.

source? Plus according the stream Gene and X were considered at some point (hearsay on my part) so I guess Capcom considered them… I wonder why they didn’t pick Gene though…
Also on people hating on some of the Capcom choices, I think they choose Vergil, Nemesis and Red Armerer to add some much needed villians to Capcom’s side.

Avengers obvious because of the movie, and Hawkeye isnt getting a movie as far as I know and people like him better than Pym/Wasp. Ghost Rider new movie and always a fan favorite.
Dr Strange has been long over due with so many of his villians in the game already in MVC, MVC2 and MVC3
Nova and Rocket, the cosmic arc has been getting pretty big lately with a lot of story lines, and Nova’s had personal interraction with Galactus.
Not too sure what Iron Fist has been up to lately, but i guess marvel wanted to toss one of their martial artists in, been rumors about an Iron Fist movie too.

Sven didn’t say that. He just said they’d announce the next ones officially at EVO as far as he knew. All that implies is at least two of them will be shown, and likely only two…
