Really no one hype over spectator mode being added? New characters are gravy but that is a HUGE selling point for me. Half of my friends list quit playing marvel because no one wanted to see cards get busy while a match was going on.
Full roster leak has me SO UNHYPED. At least now I can focus on gameplay instead of hoping for one or two characters for months.
I think Hawkeye and Vergil are odd choices since we already have characters who are essentially them plus more. The rest of the roster sounds great. Motherfucking NEMESIS up in this bitch? Hell yeah! Iron Fist and Dr Strange are some of my favourite Marvel heroes and obviously I am hyped to shit about my main man cuttin’ people up. At first I thought Ghost Rider looked as goofy as I expected him to look (no bike is kind of a cop out), but that level 3 more than made up for it. And Firebrand just looks fun as hell.
Not to sure about aerial x factors, but I’m sure there’s legitimate thinking behind that. I’m loving the fact the old cast are getting new tools and Capcom are saying they’re improving online. That’s all my buttons pushed really. I couldn’t ask for more.
Air side exchanges now take away one bar from your opponent, check out about 20 seconds in the video in haggars city. As for the roster, after my initial disappointment of no onimusha representative, its actually not bad. They all have potential to not be generic, even rocket racoon(who i didn’t know existed prior to this morning.)
Oh and I don’t get why people assume hawkeye and vergil are gonna be clones of taskmaster and dante, so hawk and task both use arrows, chris and deadpool both use guns yet are completely different characters. And don’t even get me started on vergil, he wasn’t even dantes clone in dmc 3, I fail to see why anyone would think he would be the same here. Im hoping he gets a stance switching fighting style between yamato and infrit(thats the name of the gauntlets right?)

Your not the only one. I been championing for Iron Fist since the announcement of the vanilla game. I was fucking pissed that he didn’t make the cut and foaming at the mouth when he appeared in Ryu’s ending.

I admit it, I’m bummed. More bummed than I thought I’d be. Not going to try to deny it. The pre-announcement hype for this game was a really great time, but the leaked roster has me a little sour. No hard feelings against Capcom, though.
Marvel, on the other hand, has been highly disrespectful to a number of fanbases for years (Gambit and Venom, among them), insulting the the characters (and by extension, their fanbases) in interviews and at conventions without any restraint, and honestly, they come across as very juvenile and unprofessional. They’ve really gone out of their way to sabotage these two characters over the years, and I wouldn’t be surprised if their writers’ tastes are the reason the two most highly voted characters were left out. And please, don’t try the “The only people that want Gambit and Venom are 90s fans” talk. Those two are still beloved by Marvel’s core comics fans, and get the shaft in the books too.
I’m sorry to everyone else whose hype train never found the tracks.
With all of that being said, my fighting game fandom will inevitably win out, and I’ll buy this. Hawkeye is a favorite of mine, so I’m looking forward to trying him out, and I love the Ace Attorney games, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they did with him.
Any word on whats to happen with the DHC glitch??
Capcom please give me the option to choose between classic and original HUD, like what you do with the bgm and sounds.
Can’t wait to use Vergil and Doctor Strange. Vergil should have some swag lockdown ablility and I wanna see how well Strange can assist the Dark lord.

The only new character in the roster that I’d be excited about in is Phoenix Wright. It’s as if Capcom completely ignored every suggestion that the fanbase was making and just decided “we’re gonna do our own thing because the fans are suckers and will buy it anyway.” If they’d at least included Mega Man X I probably would have traded in my copy of MVC3 vanilla for this, but I think I am going to pass unless I find it used for cheap in a few years. I am not going to waste my time and hard earned money for maybe 4 characters that I’d actually be interested in and 8 that I don’t really give a crap about.

Leakers ruined the Megaman salt bath. It would’ve been legendary when all the build up and hope shattered at the last reveals.

I was hyped at first but looking at this FULL Leak? This is awful…No Capcom NOR Marvel Females…And what makes matters worse Nova got in INSTEAD OF THANOS!:eek: I’m not going to bitch or moan because I just got into a heated argument about the characters in the game on the Capcom Unity forums…And there is no way I’m doing that here…I’ll enjoy the old game as Capcom will soon learn about the word “deception”.
I’m hype alittle bit because I’m feeling the same way Gambit is alittle bummed but I will be ok if either Carnage,Rogue,Gambit, or Ms. Marvel (rogue clone) gets in, they really toned down the X-Factor so I guess that’s their way of balancing but what about the DHC Glitch? If they take that out alot of people will have redo their teams now, least Clockwork is happy now:razzy:

Well my hype has died and gone to Hype heaven :shake: These characters are no bueno I’m happy for Strider and Ghost rider but Vergil, Rocket Raccoon, Nemesis, Fucking Nova!? and not a damn boob or X in sight dirty pull capcom dirty pull.
