Yesterday I was looking into him by reading the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comics and he’s great. Based on what I know and have seen, it would honestly be hard for Capcom not to make him similar to Cable in some ways.

Well DS, X-men and SF both have less characters than they had in the last game, Res had a character in the last game, but DMC is a new entrant in the series. It didn’t need more than one, two tops this time around, they now have as many characters as Darkstalkers, a series that’s been in the game since before the first MvC! DS, x-men and SF have all been in the series since before MvC1.

I can’t wait to play as Vergil man, they did Dante properly so I’m confident they’ll do the same with him. I had this exact thought. Probably wouldn’t even need the voucher step though. When they release the no doubt, on disc costume packs, it just scans for prior Jill/Shuma DLC and unlocks them automatically for you.
Honestly dude - forget about it. Literally, just stop worrying about it. If he’s not in - which is likely - you’re just setting yourself up for major disappointment. Forget about it and enjoy what we have/know. If he ends up in great, if not you’re not disappointed making salty posts everywhere.
If they aren’t gonna add Jem up in this, then you know what we need? A DLC Costume Pack that Jem-ifys EVERY character and even gives them some truly outrageous pre-fight, win, and victory screen quotes.
Nova looks a bit like Ippatsuman from TvC. Actually scratch that, he looks a LOT like Ippatsuman. Nova was created first though. Hopefully he is just as fun to play.
