Yeah, I played DMC3, I just never liked Vergil and certainly after having Trish and Dante didn’t want more DMC, this coming from a big DMC fan here.

fair enough, you gotta admit he is a total badass in that game though. i am pretty hyped to see how he turns out in mvc. wonder if they will go the Dante route with his different weapons assigned to different commands, or will they go for a kind of “stance change” route ala ammy.
i definatly feel the latter will give vergil a completely different style of play compared to dante, as well as fit in better with the way he plays in the special ed DMC3. having 3 different sets of normal moves for each weapon would be fucking awesome!

He took me by complete surprise, I honestly thought with Dante already on and them adding Strider then they probably wouldn’t bother with him (lots of sword characters). I am sorta interested to see what all the fuss is about with him. Who knows, I may end up liking him! But He’s by far my least fav new capcom character announced for UMvC3!
Alot of the reason I didn’t want him is because everyone used Dante on MvC3, I just don’t want to be fighting Dante, Vergil and insert 3rd fighter every time I play online.

if you can pull off the web throw loop, see if its still in (which i doubt) and if its not, see if web throw > TK maximum spider is still possible. i am very worried how they will have gone about fixing this particular thing. they better not have just put more recovery on web throw…
You’re… kidding me right? The guy couldn’t combo off of overhead, and was pretty much completely outranked by Akuma on sheer utility. I could also go on about how Shinku Hadouken is actually a KoF Super in MVC3, and how Ryu just lacks mobility. That’s me ranting though, and I like Ryu.

I don’t get why people are annoyed paying for a new version of MvC3, look at all those sport games and wrestling games that they release every year. I personally hope they do another version, UMvC3 2012 edition!
