Since the game was announced I was hoping for Vergil and now he is here Even if some how he was the worst character, he would still be on my team.
The thing about Ms. Marvel is that there was a time when Marvel was pushing her to be their flagship female character. Making her relevant again, giving her back the Ms. Marvel name, an ongoing and making her leader of the Mighty Avengers. She was doing big things and then they cancel her book after Secret Invasion. If those plans are still there being in this game would have gone a long way.
Random thought: After re-watching the character trailers, I have a feeling Hawkeye’s “Dyyeeaaaugh!” is going to get really annoying.
Hold on, even the old ones? Maybe they’ll be more than just two panels.
Hawkeye, Magneto and Taskmaster can be partners on Team Talkative.
What about Deadpool? I think he’s more talkative than Maggy. 
I mean he IS the Merc With A Mouth, after all.

I think Team Rocket is more likely to be Wesker/RR/Nemmy since ya know Wesker kinda pulls one out of his coat and flings it (I know it’s technically a missile but work with me here!)

I have the ideas already written down for what I’m gonna put in it I’m sure you will enjoy it… when it comes out in 4 months
Strider and Firebrand certainly look like the best of the four new announced characters. Firebrand looks like he’ll be pretty annoying with some sick comboability. He’s my fav out of the first batch of new cast members.
Strider looks like a powerful, but not broken character, with a plethora of combos and an excellent revamped toolset.
Hawkeye, IMO, looks like the easiest to pick up, and i think i understand what he’s good at already.
Then there’s Ghost Rider (probably the character i would’ve liked to see the most out of the crop). I don’t wanna burst anyones bubble, but at this stage in the games development, this character LOOKS ASS. His design is cool of course, but tactically, he looks like he’ll get rushed down all day long without much opportunity to get anything going. His range is impressive, he has above average health (perhaps 1.1mil) and does above average damage, but it doesn’t seem like any of that will help when you take a look at his tools. his motorcycle super looks like a mugen super. as a matter of fact, this entire character looks like he was ripped from mugen. i’m calling it, ghost rider = combo practice.
edit: i also have my own ideas on what x-factor should be.
Don’t forget the pre-fight dialog. (I still think Task and Arthur should have one)

He is going to be a runaway and shoot. Will probably have some sick cross ups to boot as well not to mention the projectile version of BIONIC ARRMMMMM! And he can finish combos with his level three and such.
Ghost Rider, forget the bike super. Going with the chain inferno unless the bike super has some major invincibility on it.
Well here is how I see these four playing
GR: Midrange high damage with normals that you can’t outprioritize as well as moves to bring you in.
Hawkeye: Mobile keepaway, designed to keep moving around you unlike Task who just super jumps and stands still. Hawkeye will jump all over the place nailing you with arrows.
Firebrand: Pixie rushdown with projectiles and nice aerial game, so low damage great combos
Strider: Going to receive health nerf most likely. Glass cannon.
EDIT: I actually think GR and Hawkeye will be pretty good. Ghost rider will have that range that will piss people off as well as the throws shown and his I am going to spit fire out of my mouth will probably be a good rush stopper.
That is probably why I have missed her then. I tend to stay away from “teenager” super hero groups. young avengers, teen titans. I already dislike most the avengers. But i’ll read a couple issues and give em a try. Looking at the cover and seeing "thor junior, iron kid, teen-hulk, and lieutenant america doesn’t quite look like my cup of tea though.
Also being in “a” versus game didn’t stop them from putting psylocke in all the other versions. Hell she could be one of the vs series mascots by now. I would really love to see what they do with her model. Tired of her old sprite. But like I said while disappointed there isn’t a single character I “love” in the new edition I have a couple I like and im sure one or two will have gameplay that catches me.
