With Psylocke being my favorite character in any Capcom based Marvel fighter from X Men COTA from like i dunno 14 years ago (god im old) I found solace with X-23. She’s the closest to a mix up based ninja character and reminds me a lot of Ibuki from 3S. Lots of attack cancelling and deception based moves and techniques including the fastest left right mix up in the game and really dirty command grab setups with assists.

Over a day has passed, Still hype for Dr. Strange and Firebrand, looking forward to Iron Fist (as well as the other characters).
Getting 3 characters I wanted isn’t bad, and the rest of the roster looks good to me. No disappointment here.
Now I just wait and hope they make a great Strange.

Mega Man has enough abilities siphoned from Robot Masters that he’d make even Dante’s number of options look downright pathetic.
Not a huge fan of Mega Man being in this game by any means, but saying Zero does everything Mega Man does and more is just flat out incorrect.
X just shoots shit. Zero shoots shit and has a sword.

Does J. Magnum > St. Magnum still work when close?
Is SMG start-up shortened? Shotgun more range?
Does Magnum still give a hard-knockdown? Does his Grenade Launcher fully combo instead the OTG hit and then the rest whiffs?

But Vergil quotes aside, I’m expecting Phantom Swords as his mainstay move. Hopefully some of his Beowulf/Force Edge makes it into Ulti as well like Lunar Phase and Round Trip (the original!)
Also expecting Judgement Cut OTG super. AND hopefully they get Dan Southworth back to voice him. His “SCUM!” and “BEGONE!” were awesome.
X… can actually use a sword as well. In fact he uses one in MMX6, and in various armors, plus a ton of other shit Zero doesn’t do with those armors. The same way Zero does things X can’t do with his sword.
I can do that stuff, i am not good with Chris but it seems easy enough to try that out
