I am excited for every single CAPCOM character. We knew Strider, Frank, PW, and Firebrand were coming, but Nemesis and Vergil are sooo HYPE! Can’t wait to see Phoenix Wright in action to see how they make him work. I am going to be rocking Zero+Strider forever (i mean it) and the third character would probably be one of the new characters.
For MARVEL, I love that Ghost Rider is in even though we thought he wouldn’t be. Hawkeye is cool if they don’t make him so much like Taskmaster. Great people finally got Iron Fist and Strange, those 2 were highly requested. Not so excited for the raccoon and Nova, but that’s because I know nothing about them.

What does that have to do with giving fans what they want? It’s a decade later and I thought we had better communication with the developers. They still just throw whatever useless characters they want in, forgetting that some ppl grew up reading Marvel, so they might want certain character pretty badly?

I got a few things I am betting will be happenning in UMvC3:
- Just before/after fighting Strider, Deadpool will make a cl0ckw0rk/EVO reference.
- Nemesis will be slow as hell but alot of health and/or attack damage.
- Rocket Raccoon will have the smallest hitbox.

I don’t play Dorm very often, so I’m not sure how Chaotic Flame OTG is any better than purification tower OTG -> Chaotic Flame.
i guess it might be useful when you don’t have enough time to do purification? or if you DHC into it while the opponent is knocked down…
We had pretty much the same characters in every versus game up until this point - time for something new. We all grew up with Cyclops and Gambit,etc. Enjoyed playing them in past games, but IMO thats no reason rehash them yet again.
If people want to mad about nerfs when they sit down and play the game, that’s fine.
I have never had faith in Capcom actually balancing or fixing anything, I feel like they get lucky every damn time.
But when they deliver like they did in the past 24 hours, well you’re just an ungrateful fucking fanboy if you’re going to keep whining about your husband/beau not getting into the damn game.

Nova is a badass from Earth with tons of shit.
And he happened to rip the intestines out of a giant metal bug.
He can fly, has 100 ton strength, energy manipulation for beams, and durability.
Nova has tons of potential aka he is most likely to replace what was Surfer but with more one liners and trash talk.
