If they can make Phoenix Wright work certainly they can come up with something for Opa Opa.
You could find characters from Bayonetta, Phantasy Star, Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers, Shinobi, Nights, Burning Rangers, Alex Kidd, Space Harrier, Wonder Boy, the fucking Dragon from Panzer Dragoon, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Gunstar Heroes, Guardian Heroes, Toe Jam and Earl, Shining Force, Astal, Vectorman, Jet Set Radio etc.
The best part is you could fill a whole roster with those and add Knuckles as an afterthought with no Sonic. Then we can find fans louder than Megaman fans to unecessarily bitch about their character not making a game they’ll never play, and maybe they can kill each other off.
Or Capcom Vs The World. lol. always thought that was what they were trying to do.
If capcom was smart they’d do a “capcom all stars” game, stick all the characters from MvC3 and TvC on, and just add more til they have a roster of around 60 (They’d already have over 30 made).

Darkstalkers vs. Guilty Gear. Donovan v Sol and Ky. Jedah v Testament. Demitri v Slayer. Morrigan v I-No. Hsien-Ko v Faust. Victor v Potemkin. Bishamon v Baiken. Raptor v Eddie. Bulleta v Bridget. Felicia v Anji. The list of matchups goes on and on.
I’d love to play as Alex Kidd in all of his weirdness. I wouldn’t mind NiGHTS (or however the hell you spell it), Bayonetta would be Sega’s Dante, Vectorman could have a neat transforming moveset, and a Streets of Rage rep would be cool but would never outdo Haggar. Nothing beats Haggar, though I do enjoy SoR more. Funny how the first place I actually played Strider and GnG were on my brothers’ Genesis, while World Warrior was on our SNES.

Capcom needs to make a Capcom vs SNK, except have a roster with the creativity of MvC3.
I hated how CvS was basically Street Fighter vs King of Fighters. Where the hell was Felicia vs Cham Cham? Strider Hiryu vs Galford? Jedah vs Setsuna (Last Blade)? Gill vs Orochi? Marco (Metal Slug) vs Mega Man? And about a dozen other utterly obvious combinations that needed to happen.

Still though, my point was that Cap has tools, he just has trouble getting an opportunity to use them in MVC3. Ultimate seems like it went above and beyond in fixing that. Now yeah, as a Cap player, that is awesome for me. I have a feeling he’s going to be one of the better Ultimate characters though.
That move was great. My friends hated playing my Joe BECAUSE they’d have to sit through that every time.
Hmm, I wish this game could have had a good “team TvC”, Ryu, Chun Li and Morrigan are on everything, whereas Joe and Frank made their FG debut on TvC, would have been nice to have a good character to put with them (Zero is terrible).
They should just recycle UMvC3 characters, replace Marvel characters with more Capcom characters and relase Capcom vs Capcom.

I guess in that series they were going for the more realistic capcom fighters, unfortunately those types of fighters generally only exist in sf for the most part.
