charge moves really have no place in this game. I speak for the chun li, hulk, shuma gorath, felicia (?) players out there. There is no reason why spinning bird kick should be a charge move in mvc3 and akuma’s tatsu not be a charge move. There’s no reason shuma gorath’s eyeballs should be the worst projectile in this game and still be a charge move.

Is it confirmed that we are getting footage from evo? Id rather not hold out hope only to be disappointed.

Akuma has historically never been a charge character, whereas chun li has been before. So no charges for akuma. Hulk is a tank with a projectile and armor moves, it kinda makes it balanced. If they made it a motion attack they would probably make it suck worse.

Shuma’s eyeballs are good if you can combo into them and then you get free untechable TAC exchanges into longer combos.

Charge moves got no right in a fast paced game like MvC3. If it was a quick back-forward or up-down motion then yes. Instead you are giving up a good second and a half to do one move when you could pull out 3 normals, or do 2 specials that are quarter circles.

My problem was always getting hit while behind him trying to punish ;/

You try Gamma waving against anyone with a brain and see how it goes. You act like Hulk has unlimited armor on everything he does. It isn’t even close to that.

Tracking teleports that get behind a person shouldn’t exist in my opinion. :x

Wesker and Dormammu have the most balanced teleports, as they are either directly above, or only teleport a set distance.

Max said he was going so I imagine we’ll have a ton if he was able to get into the area

Wesker is on all my teams, Dorm is on two of them. It’s more like Teleport mixup with wesker, hulk tries to punish with H, I’m behind him and get hit. It makes me sad.

I don’t run into Hulks too often so in all reality it rarely ever happens, it’s the same with Maximum Voltage and Legs too.Hit frames growing from asses ftw?

If there’s dlc then I hope Venom gets in over Thanos. Nobody wants his bubbly ass wasting a slot in this game.

You entirely missed my point. SPINNING BIRD KICK DOES NOT NEED TO BE A CHARGE MOVE IN THIS GAME. Have you even played a charge move character in this game. It is completely blatant that the charge moves do not need to be charge moves. Mystic stare is complete garbage as a projectile. There is no reason why is should be a charge move, especially since its supposed to be incorporated into combos in this game. Linking a mystic stare out of a crouching heavy is extremely hard to consistently do outside of training mode with the speed in this game. There is no reason it needs to be a charge move. They could just rework gamma wave and make it not a charge move. As a magneto and shuma gorath player, it’s quite funny how i can play magneto and keep someone out effectively because disruptor is so fast and not a charge move, but when I play shuma gorath, I can’t keep anyone out for shit because all of his ranged attacks are charge moves, yet he has some of the worst rushdown in this game.

I’m pretty sure Venom is one of the few characters that we can all but guarantee won’t make an appearance.

Charge moves work in Street Fighter because it requires a patient calculated approach. The object of Marvel is pressure. An attack that requires you to hold back is a contradiction of the very way the game should be played. I fully agree that they should be replaced by a simple back forward + Atk.
