The Gambit movie wont happen. Guardians and Nova are coming back in a big way And Thanos is about to be in everything marvel has their hands in for the next year or so. Infinity gauntlet is in the Thor movie and Marvel is currently working on how to reintroduce Thanos in their books. (All signs point to the unknown in the evil its self.) He also is Supposedly in the avengers movie which will be a doormat to launch their first cosmic movie. why is he getting so much attention? Simple the Thanos Imperative was the highest selling mini they had in the last two years. Look it up. did much better than siege.
Good stuff, Thanos is by far my absolute favorite comic character of all time (I still have Infinity Wars, Thanos Quest, etc in Mint condition from when I bought them new).
I hope if he does make it in… no more bubble parties please

Some problems here. I don’t recall spidey being one of the last reveals, he was after Cap America and just the same time with Wesker. Also, Spiderman’s license with activision was settled probably even before MVC3 was announced. Unless you think there was no spiderman being made or done when wolverine and Ryu where seen on the trailer. They just revealed Spiderman on the time they wanted to, not because of license issues.

Can’t believe it, fell asleep before top 4 and woke up RIGHT after grand finals was over. Man, I need to see the last match.
Now Capcom has no excuse to nerf Tron’s point play.

The only way to truly love this game is to fully accept that it is MvC3: Fate of Comback Potential. If you don’t accept that, your head will ache.
I cannot help but thinking of Ultimate when I watch the stream. So much less derp to be had. Perhaps for new derp, but we will save that madness for November. Seriously, what will people do without Haggar’s hard knockdown, Tron’s fire and BFFs? Configure actual clever ways to get in?

It was actually stated that they had an agreement with Activision to not announce him until after Shattered Dimensions was released. Everyone knew Spidey would be in it sure, but towards the end there were doubts until the announcement which was very shortly after Shattered Dimensions released.
I may have been wrong on him being one of the last, but he was definitely late in the hypetrain.
Spiderman/Wesker were revealed during last years Tokyo Game Show, which was mid september.

Yeah, I know. I just don’t think it’s much reason to consider any new characters. Makes sense sure, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up over it.
Yea it’s just speculation to get the thread back on track. I’m fine with what we’ve got coming anything else is just gravy to me.
Not to beat a dead horse, but if there is one thing evo proved its this game definitely needed a lot more tweaks than a sentinel health nerf. I honestly didn’t really enjoy top 8, most of the hype for me was in top 32, thank God for ultimate.
Hopefully we get some news out of evo this week. Plus I wonder if they are gonna announce a new character at gamescom, I hope so.
