I think DD is highly likely, why would Capcom waste time putting a major character in the background if they weren’t gonna use him? Tron, Akuma & Firebrand were all in the background of stages previously.
He kind of looks “vintage”. I mean, that does not look like his current look so I just assumed it was his classical outfit or something.
And Wright must look weird because we rarely - if ever - see his full body in his games.
I’m actually hoping he’s good all around so people get bodied by him.
There are 6 characters that I am super hype about getting Dr Strange, Nova, Nemesis, RR (Complete fuzzy badass), Ghostrider and Iron fist… Im not too sure they could have picked better for the marvel side its about time some new blood got a chance.

I agree, I wouldn’t of mind the demanded characters (besides Carnage, yuck) but the characters that are got in are infinitely better than the top picks besides Ms. Marvel (my most wanted character now that Frank & IF are in), Cyclops & Venom. & the latter two deserve to get in because they’re iconic.

I am so hype for RR. I’m reading Guardians of the Galaxy right now and I will easily say that RR was a fantastic choice for the game. Come on Seth… we all know you guys wanted to put Cable in the game so the “big 4” could all return. I will shit my pants of RR is indeed Cable 2.0, but with half the hitbox.

Meh, I don’t see why people are complaining about Pheonix Wright. If they’re putting him in the game, then they must have found a way to make him work. It’s not like they completely forgot the fact PW is a lawyer, and if they found a way to make him work, then I assume we can expect a character who be very different from most of the others. Honestly, I kind of assume he’ll summon people from his series to fight for him in a Doronjo-esque fashion.
too be fair it is the internet and I can only perceive through context how your post was to be interpreted. It is just getting a little annoying with the RR hate. Rocket Raccoon is a marvel fan favorite. He isn’t on the polls on unity and the such because these aren’t usually populated by Marvel fans, but capcom/fighting game fans. I know most of the hate is coming from the people that only know marvel through the vs. series. But most of the cast of MvC2 isn’t viable. Cable is dead, Rogue no longer has Ms. Marvel’s powers. Omega Red is a 90’s EXTREME character. I could go on. But seriously, real comic fans are blowing up with hype over this roster. If Capcom went to marvel with these characters on a list they really did their homework. Capcom side is decent. Like I said I think all of them, with the exception of PW, look like they will be fun characters to play.
tl,dr: I apoligize. I am just sick of RR hate. He is a legit Marvel character
