Yeah, I’d expect it to have a long recovery or something else to keep it balanced. If he’s close, throw a projectile at him and whack him with an assist or vice versa.
Like I said, I don’t imagine he’d be able to absorb lances and bullets and stuff, but then again I don’t know much about Nova, so he may very well be able to.
And yeah, a Tessa/Thanos reveal would make me blow my load almost as much as a new Darkstalkers. Almost.
I am interested in seeing how just about every new character in the game plays outside of Nemesis. I love Resident Evil 3 and such, but I’m just not that interested in him in this game. I’m pretty apathetic about Iron Fist as well, but I think he could be really interesting.
Nemesis is just one of those characters I’d never consider playing.
It’s goofier seeing a character who has no fighting capabilities whatsoever in a game like Marvel vs. Capcom than a humanoid raccoon character with tactical expertise and an infatuation with massive guns and rifles of mass destruction.
Even Frank West as a reputation for battling hordes of zombies. Phoenix has no evidence of anything of the sort.
we all know 'coon is as loaded as cable with guns, but a human lawyer with no fighting skills whatsoever… in a fighting game? that’s goofier than anything else in marvel 3 so far.

But a raccoon with guns has guns. And he fights against people almost constantly, so that’s a pretty terrible comparison.
Rocket Raccoon is really more badass than goofy.

If people haven’t read anything with RR, they need to keep quiet. It’s pretty frustrating seeing people post stuff and you know they are completely off base because they choose to judge him by appearance.
Know how I know you don’t read comics? Rocket Raccoon is apart of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He is a tactical mastermind, and has an affinity for huge guns. He travels around the galaxy with a rag tag group of others fighting threats to the galaxy. What has Phoenix Wright done in his universe? Yell objection? Seriously, this crying over Rocket Raccoon is ridiculous when a freakin’ lawyer just got into a fighting game. NOt starting a flame war, but people cheering at Phoenix Wright have NO RIGHT to complain about Rocket Raccoon a seasoned fighter in the marvel universe.
I’m loving the Rocky/Nova hype. Keep it going. I’m really looking forward to those two the most.

Yea when I first saw RR I was like “WTF!!!”, honestly capcom coulda picked a much better picture for him than that(although in their defense he was supposed to have a trailer to go along with that pic), then I googled him and the first pic that came up was Stellar_Krakens avatar and I was like “Dude looks pretty badass, I could grow to like this”. Can’t wait to see his trailer.
Rocket Raccoon in his UMvC3 official art looks a little different than he does in the comics. Phoenix Wright also looks a little skinnier… but no complaints.
I feel like most of the people who like Phoenix Wright just think he’s going to be really funny…which he will be for the first couple of hours of the game, and then everyone will drop him and the joke will be over. That’s what I think will happen, but I’d be happy if I was wrong.
i never said anything about the raccoon not having fighting experience, i was merely stating a raccoon with guns is goofier than a lawyer. calm yourself. im looking forward to using the raccoon, im not attacking him.
