I’m most looking forward to Nova, Strider, Nemesis, Hawkeye, Iron Fist and RR.
I was stoked when I saw Nova. I didn’t think he had a chance. I love that 11 of the 12 characters arent MvC2 repeats.
I am hype for Nemesis, I wanted him before MvC3 came out, so I finally got someone of my wishlist, I am really eager to see Chris’ buffs, and if his Grenade launcher combo’s instead 1st hit.
Ghost Rider seems so crazy, his chains have enormous range!
Sucks Megaman isn’t in but considering I like and read the comics of 5/6 of the new marvel characters, plus Wright + Nemesis, SCREW MEGAMAN!
Nova is on another tier of godliness than Thanos, so happy he’s in!

Pretty hilarious how Venom and Mega Man X were at the top of those polls and neither of them got in.
Because, 1. people find it hard to let go of the past and 2. Its easier to want a character your familiar with, than someone you might not even like. Fortunately Im more open minded, I was disappointed bishop/emma frost/an onimusha representative didn’t make it, but after some thought, dr strange, nova and rocket racoon might actually allow for some very interesting move sets.
On a side note, anyone figure out what the gargoyles instal hyper might do? It doesn’t regenerate health, it doesn’t seem to change the attributes of any of his moves and he can build meter while in it, but thats all I could get from the videos/stream. It probably offers him some defensive boost or something
You know, im just thankful this game got more characters. If anything I’d take out phoenix wright and put in Bilstien from Plasma Sword, but that’s just me. Not gonna complain because Red Areccer is god, and im going to make a team just for him.
Yeah, I know. I missed that fireball thing. That overhead is HUGE! No more using X-factor to capitalize. Seriously, that one change is magnificent. Same for Shinkuu Reflecting Hadouken, and does Shinkuu Tatsu really make an actualy tornado? if so, Ryu is no longer an ordinary guy. I really hope Chun got buffed. Dem thighs, man.

Bring on Ultimate MvC3 EX Edition for 2013, and one last one for 2014, both adding 24 characters total! Then we can have MvC4 on the new gen consoles in 2015/16 with all the characters from ‘MvC3’ (all 74 [+DLC] of them!) plus a bunch of new ones. That’s right, MvC needs go to MUGEN with the number of characters. Please everyone with the character choices, so everyone bitches about there being too many characters. People gonna be at the character select screen for 30 minutes.

gameplay for the most part seems to look the same, floaty and ridiculos OTG window. legion connecting after air combo is dumb.
oh well. team clockwork will not be a viable team which makes me kind of sad 
So what makes the other characters “losers” other than you not being familiar with them? More broken? How so?

Mixed emotions are a reasonable option too. Doesn’t have to be so black and white.
lol @ people judging a game that isn’t in the hands of the community yet. Its all a matter of perspective. If you wanted marvel 2.5 you’re gonna be salty, but don’t make that out to seem like capcom wrong you personally in their character choice. Be a bit more open minded, any character has the potential to be good.
I just hope the update makes the game a bit more diverse (read: less phoenix and logan) and a bit more balanced. so far its hard to tell, since I’m still havin trouble figuring out if the damage is higher than it was or still the same.
Marvel 2.5 is just a turn of phrase to explain the char choices, btw. Like… we got new and interesting chars. Give them a chance before you instantly decide their bad and by extension so is everything else. I would’ve loved gambit more than anything, but instead i get to play iron fist and nova, and i really wanna see how they do phoenix wright.
