Ultimate Magneto Combo Thread: It's my BnB, I Never Fuck It Up

Okay; again, in the first combo, after the Fierce x 7, I typically run out of Flight time or I don’t have enough time left to j.L, j.M, (Delay) j.M, Fierce xx Repulser xx Tempest. What am I missing?

i had the same problem. look very closely at the ender you’ll notice that he does the fly fierces very fast and the cancels immediately into j:l: :m: :m: :h: disruptor xx tempest.

remember that you have hit the j:l: as soon as you dash after the last fly fierce or else you’ll drop it

Oh, shit, I didn’t even recognize the principle that Air-Dash-Attack-cancelling essentially increases his flight time. Good stuff, Blooda.

you have to do it immediately. too fast or too slow and it’ll drop. just keep studying kanta’s video clip and doing the motions exactly as they are done in the video.

I dont know why, but at that point it wont let you JUST cancel into L. Disruptor. So what I do is

:l::m::m::h: ( :s: ) xx :l: Disruptor.

Even though the H cant be canceled into disruptor as it usually is, you can Kara cancel S into a disruptor. you can kind of see it in the video, but its hard because magneto is semi-offscreen.

This is a thing that you can get down with 1-2 hours of practice. you dont even need to practice the full TAC, this works off of a regular launch combo. (Post launcher S is cancellable before it hits, it seems)

Anyway, we started this conversation with the RayRay ender and that fits into these combos. You do one less H into the Unfly H, disruptor ender. It does a bit less damage, but it’s “easier” if youre not uses to the kara S

Kanta, you can do a triple DHC with Magneto and it should do more damage than Dante’s hard tag combo and more than doing Gravity Squeeze.

To confirm off Jam Session with Magneto in a combo you have to use call Dante after hypergrav crH S delay TK H hypergrav. But after a Sent Extension you can probably do call Jam Session stS TK hypergrav.

Even with only the drones extension btw the triple DHC does more damage than both combos, just saying. Dante’s scaling is ass that the only reason you’d hard tag him in is to build meter. So do your same bnb and end with drones with hypergrav xx tempest and it should do more damage.

Edit: Can anyone help me with the jHS extension? They drop out at max stH scaling(ie doesnt soft knockdown anymore), so whenever I do jH they simply drop out, is there a trick to doing this?

Thing is I can’t consistently extend with jam Session. Like, they always drop out of the last hit since at that point it does practically no hit stun. Either that or the HGrav hits right before that hit and doesnt capture them. Pisses me off :confused:

both do 1mil off a throw from midscreen with that team

i believe you can try a side-switch variant into rom - add :s: for the corner carry into dante extension after midscreen throw and get at least a mil and 3 bars

And for the ground version all you have to do is dash up after the ADDF, J.H, land

It is consistent, but there is a tight window for it, if you do it too early theyll get hit before the last hit of jam, too late and they’ll drop out, you want to TK the H hypergrav around halfway of normal jump height after crHS. I would recommend against it if you can use a Drones extension in a combo though because it doesnt add much damage in comparison to the drones extension, and scales his Tempest super more than a solo hypergrav bnb from what I’ve tested, but it does add some meter build so that’s a plus.

I noticed that and asked about his Tempest scaling a couple of months ago but never got a response at the time, but what’s up with that scaling? Like, a 30 hit combo will scale Tempest a certain amount, but do a 21 hit combo into an extension with Dark Hole before doing the Tempest at 30 hits and the Tempest gets scaled weirdly by it does much less damage. I’ve never noticed that with other characters I’ve played.

Any real insight about it?
