c.:l: s.:h: > c.:l::h: and u+:h: does more than :h: and d+:h:. Also you should be able to get sjc.:h: dj. d+:h::s: on some of those relaunches, not always worth it if you optimize the first part, but it’s more meter and damage.
Also My double side switch combos are swag as fuck…also practical and optimal (seriously people learn the corner combos T_T, no more Vanilla combo delayed air normals. It’s all I ever see on streams.)
I wasn’t so concerned with optimal combos as I was showcasing the tech in those videos. Unfortunately, some of these render the damage of optimized bnbs negligible; it wouldn’t be worth it anyway (such as the hyper charging star dhc tempest).
Although Captain America and Sentinel has a lot of potential. And an argument can be made for Cap second in a Magneto/Captain America pairing, also considering that Cap has TAC infinites in all directions anywhere on screen.
I liked it (will also add you on psn- will be huh-disaintawii or Yawdan)
Showed variety in your combos, and had one or two things I hadn’t seen before too ^^
Thanks for the Feedback, glad you guys enjoyed. YawDan as soon as i get on my ps3 I’ll add you and hopefully we can play some sets, it’ll be cool playing against a fellow cap player.
I actually discovered the TAC infinite few months ago when I think it wasn’t possible at first. So I messed around in Training Room and found out that he can do the infinite in all directions. Both Side and Up Exchange are difficult to start the infinite consistently because of the timing.
Haven’t tested it on all the characters and don’t want to whip out my phone to record it, but you can get do instant overhead j. l, XFC, j.l, j. m, land, l, m… into a full combo. Like I said, haven’t tested it on all the characters but it seems to work on at least Captain America/Doom’s crouching hitboxes. Might be able to go smaller. Couldn’t get it to work on Mags, Spencer, Task, Vergil (maybe doesn’t work, maybe just shit execution- only worked on it for a few mins while I was on the phone). Of the characters I tested it on, only seems useful against Doom in tournament play but I’m sure anyone else who’s interested can do some more work on it. Since Captain doesn’t have a high/low I think this can be a useful mixup even if it’s a bit YOLO wasting X factor. That being said, who will ever block high vs a Captain America dashing in? lol. I’m sure it works on most of the (relevant) cast if you can get a fuzzy setup going.
Actually I have some ideas with it now that I think about it lol.
