Ultimate Dante Combo Thread. Jackpot! Yeah baby!

Well I can’t speak for Momo, but personally I’d love it if people had stuff to share. I’d prefer notations, in order to have some sort of consistency with the videos, but I can’t stop anybody from doing their own videos if they want. As much as I may enjoy feeding my own ego, this is more for the benefit of the SRK Dante community. That, and I also enjoy doing this sort of thing for some reason.
So if you (or anybody) wants to pitch in, please do. Like you said, one person can’t know optimal shit for every character, lol. And sharing info can give other people new ideas and maybe lead to something cool.

That sounds like a great idea. It might be alot of work but I think its worth it. Personally I like to see ways people maximize damage of off crouching light, jump ins, or standing medium, or raw stinger. Also what people can do with the assist that they play. How they can add them in.

I’ve had it happen with Drones and Hidden Missiles assists. You can do do it on purpose, actually, which is pretty cool, though I’ve never tried it outside of training mode.
I don’t think there are any airborne frames involved. It seems like the assist character doesn’t want to get out of the way of your opponent, but Stinger is fully intent on moving Dante forward a set distance. That’s my guess, anyway.

It can be done with storm’s double typhoon and one more assist but I cant think of it right now.

Okay cool, I will go ahead and get started on a video later tonight showing all the combo extensions with doom missiles to my knowledge, I’ll try to include everything from using them to confirm off of welcome set ups and grabs to using missiles to create block strings so the assist doesn’t get blown up, only thing I’ll hate doing is the notations, whenever I write those it feels like I’m writing out long algebraic equations…

EDIT: Fuck it…I’ll just make an entire guide to using Dante/Hidden missiles, as cheap as Dante gets with that assist I still don’t see many people getting much mileage out of the it other than to just reset a ground bounce in the corner… I’ll include resets as well as BnB’s, kind of like an updated video to the one X-Ray made a while back.

It’s just the wall bounce Stinger after any gun command normal (Clay Pigeon ( :h: after :s:), Scat Shot (Mash s.:h:), or Cold Shower( :df::h:).

I tend to use him in my combos by calling him during the falling j.H, near the beginning of a basic BnB starter right after the Volcano-> j.H-> Air Play, and then teleport immediately when I land and quickly airdash into a helm breaker. After the opponents in a hard knockdown state, I just go from there trying to keep the hits to a minimum. If you want to see what I mean, I put a sort of optimized combo in this video at 1:37, but I can only seem to get the damage over around 750k-ish with a Chris assist as well.

Hammer Volcano j.M jH Killer Bee (S H) x3 S mash H Stinger (it’s too close)
haven’t tried the Volcano j.H air play jH version

Backdash before you start shot loops after a groundbounce. Off of killer bee cancel the backdash early

the combos themselves aren’t important, just what you’re doing with drones is. but it would be boring to look at the same bnb over and over with like 1 move different at the end.

Can anyone give me notations for this combos I am having difficulty getting icetower to come out fast enough to connect I have timed the assist so it hits correctly.

Well for the part you are probably having trouble with its volcano jump xx million carats with verg assist juggling directly after the volcano in between
