What do we have for combos off of throws? Obviously, ground throws require really specific assists (Drones is the only ones I know off the top of my head, Eye of Agamotto might work due to being active forever, Lariat doesn’t hard knockdown anymore but might still be possible), but there’s lots of stuff for comboing off of air throws

Aside from that I have one other reason for being here, I need to get more damage out of my combos. Right now my go to corner combo is:

I need to somehow up the damage both solo and with assists, currently I’m running Vergil’s Rising Sun, and Trish’s Peekaboo.
What’s the best you can think of with vergil’s rapid slash assist and deadpools quick work? The best I’ve come up with is:

Updated the first two posts a bit. There’s a little bit of a rough summary of stuff I’m going to add. I can’t really get to it now but it should be updated in full pretty soon.
I know if you have Vergil’s rapid slash, you can do the Sky Dance into Acid Rain, and then pick them up with volcano, bring em down with J.S then call Rapid slash, sky dance again and get the last hit to whiff do the acid rain thing again. I don’t know if you can have Deadpool come and pick them up again, but if you can you could call it and stinger into sky dance and probably reset the ground bounce and do volcano xx beehive, million dollars, dhc to Vergil.
So as it turns out, Million Stab can be kind of useful for extending combos. After a Beehive (or any ground bounce would work, I guess) doing Stinger > Million Stab will hold your opponent in place for quite a while. They’ll recover before the last few hits, buuuuuut
since Stinger and Million Stab are both normals, you can
-cancel into a special, which will most likely miss unless you’re doing this really early in a combo, which would be a stupid idea anyway, or
-call an assist while it’s hitting. At which point you can then cancel into a special, launcher, bold move, whatever you want. Million Stab gives you enough time to call something like Vajra and it’ll still connect. It’s kinda hard to time though; cancel Million Stab too early and they’ll flip out before Strider hits, cancel too late and you’ll get Million Stab’s hitstun instead of Vajra’s hard knockdown.
It definitely works better with assists that are active for a long time. With Repulsor Blast, for example, you can do
blablablablabla Sky Dance, Beehive, Stinger (call Iron Man), Million Stab, (Repulsor hits), Bold Cancel, Air Dash forward, Sky Dance, Beehive, Stinger, etc etc. which builds assloads of meter.
Maybe not the best way to extend combos, but it could be useful for some teams
Umm got an 894k corner combo with a jump :s: with sent and strider for 1 bar.
Pretty similar to the high impact combo but is easier.

Yo you guys have any combo extensions using cvipers assists most importantly burning kick? I got a couple with seismo and knuckle but I think unblockables are a great choice for dante.
Also I haven’t been in the lab recently but would it be possible to have like an acid rain extension using seismo or first like hard knockdown>seismo>acid rain or like call tnuckle>reverb otg>acid rain. Idk just wondering.
Oh this ones for momo. I’ve been using your sent extensions in the corner and I just figured that instead of doing sxxhammer after drones or skydance you can do sxxskydance for even more damage and prolly more meter.
Edit: Got an 840k 1 bar in corner with cviper and sent not optimized but I’m about to will update as soon as I do.
FML. I’ve never been so frustrated in my life. I thought I would have the highest 1 bar damage combo ever but I failed.
910k 1 bar corner combo from hammer and the best part about it is that it doesn’t need to start with hammer, volcano, js. So its really easy and consistent.
I’m gonna see if I can do any better than I’ll upload it.

It also works midscreen but is less damaging because you cant reset the ground bounce. Is also more difficult.
The problem is if I start with hammer volcano j:s: then I can’t connect the j:h: killer bee because the bee whiffs. If anyone can find an alternative please tell me about it. I tried masas but then I don’t use the ground bounce and I can never get the spacing. Try the combo out it’s sick.
Did it with masa’s viper extension same damage. 10x harder.
Lol umm none off the top of my head but I wouldn’t use to horizontal assists. I think task verts might be better but chris gun fire scales damage so ummm sorry that I was useless.
Problem here is you have two assists that essentially do the same thing. I’d probably switch up Chris to Boulder punch or Mine. Not sure what Dante can do with those assists but likely more than what he can do with gunfire, I might test later
The second hit of Boulder Punch causes a hard knockdown, but the first hit doesn’t cause enough hitstun late in a combo. You can hold the opponent in place for the second hit with something like Rainstorm or Million Stab. I wonder if Reverb would work?
