Ultimate Arm, Bionic Arm. UMvC3 Spencer Combo Thread

I’m still trying to land the armour piercer after the bionic arm. Can anyone explain how it do or what makes its work

Essentially, you must have connected with Bionic Arm at max range. That way Spencer has recovered in time to get the Armor Piercer to connect.

Hey guys so iv learned quite a few spencer combos and i find that the double bionic bomber combos generally give me the highest yield in damage. Problem is that when im playing matches i find that landing sM -> sH -> S -> qcf H ~ L (or just m, h, qcf h for wolvie and such) is really inconsistent, they flip out if you dont get it perfect. At least thats what i find. Also its inconsistent to be able to land the bionic bomber with enough time to get the said sequence when youre not sure if your gonna make it to the corner or your spacing is just off. So is there any tips on landing this, is there a more consistent combo with comparable damage without bomber, and any tips on being consistent mid-screen? or you just go for GX loop if youre midscreen?

I don’t know if anyone has figured this out before, but here’s a pretty simple and decent damage confirm off of any party time!

That’s a pretty neat combo, but you still had a wall bounce left to use. Damage could easily be boosted to 600k +.

I didn’t wanna bother my roommates to film it for me, so I did what i could with the record function. Just wanted to share the set up here. :slight_smile:

so guys i recently picked up spencer and i was looking up his combos to optimized damage for my team (Spencer[Slant], Iron Man[Unibeam/Repulsor], Doom[Missiles]) and i want to know if i can do more damage than this of the normal shit midscreen:

is it possible to get the bionic bomber ground bounce into unibeam or repulsor after the missiles extension? i can’t get but that might be due to me just picking up the character

Getting a launch off ammy assist is something that just never occurred to me, but happened while I was optimizing this combo specifically.

The assist call after criss cross isn’t something I’ve seen anyone else do, but with a lot of assists it lets you get an extra uvg. The timing is pretty tight but definitely learnable, just gotta basically do it as part of the motion, like, :d::a1::df::f::h: and try to call assist just before you get to neutral so that it’s buffered in but still comes out before you start the grapple.

spencer with repulsor and missiles assist is fuckin nuts. just letting yall know that right now lol

So, this is kind of interesting because I have been trying to pick up Iron Man, so my situation is the reverse of yours. That said, you should check out the jump loop on the first page, because it’s more damage than what you are getting there.

Now that that’s out of the way… I’m really struggling to use Iron Man, but I find him really interesting. Got any tips? How are you using Repulsor for Spencer?

thanks for the combo tip! so i find out that i can do this for the combo ender of: calling repulsor + tk bionic bomber which gives you enough time to do a UVG and then do the zips afterwards for about 890k-ish before maneuvers.

also the way i use repulsor is kind of similar to how i use him with magneto in the way that on the incoming mix up, I would do down zip and setup for a command grab or overhead mix up into tod. hope that helps!

I saw a Knives combo the other day I’d never seen before from a command grab so I tried to recreate it somewhat. Here it is just in the tiny case that it is actually new

I think the first combo is optimized starting from the zip loop, don’t take my word for it though.
BTW I haven’t confirmed this but with repulsor assist you can get two bionic bomber UVG.
Midscreen would go like, still not sure if optimized but should be.
:m::h::s: > :m: zip :df::h: > land UVG > dash up bionic bomber :m::h::s: uvg > call IM bionic bomber uvg > call doom uvg uvg > :h: grapple zig zag uvg.
You could do :h: zip :df::h: but the follow up is tighter with it.

What makes MH zip S in the loop better than MHS zip? The latter feels a lot easier.
