I saw the in Japan but didn’t play it. I tried Spectral vs. Generation and wasn’t too impressed.

i guess i should send out an e-mail. the thing is, when we get back, i have to renew the room reservations (so dan your going to have to come with me), and then i also have to renew our club for the semester (which means everyone who has a position has to sign it, i.e. me, scott, dan, yosh, and whoever else who wants to do something for the club).
i only saw vids of the game. it has the same art style and animation as guilty gear, just with hokuto no ken chars. every match seems to end with a “fatality” though and i duno how that really works.
i’m back on campus already jerry so just tell me when you’re going to go and i’ll go with you. siebel is super close to where i live anyway. but i didn’t have a position in the club before so i dun think i need one now lol.

any how… we are having a tournament at illinites on feb. 3rd.
its basically no buy in, everything is provided by illinites, including the cash prize.
anyways, I am gonna wrap up the details this week, we have to meet up to decide what games to play. gonna be guilty gear + one of the following: tekken 5, soul calibur 3, smash brothers, or melty blood (i m kidding).
It is probably gonna be single elimination, depending on how many people are there for the tournament. Also, aric, danchin, and steve are still vying for no character changing. One or the other, I don’t really care, so I guess that is up to scott for guilty gear, and dan for whatever of the other 3 games.
No guarantee on the prize, but the smash tourney was 1st: $100, 2nd: $75, 3rd: $50. Note we have 2 games to deal with, but even so, the pot would be much bigger than what we have to work with in ebgames.
Other issues, controllers, and also, generally the people running the tourney shouldn’t enter it. So I am thinking how we should settle that?
