Orka, I would be happy to pick that up (btw, is it a stick or a literal controller?). My fighting game experience consists primarily of playing GGXX #R on PC vs the CPU and thus I’m in need of a controller 
Well, here’s the thing… it’s somewhat unresposive with Super Dual Box. I don’t know what converter you use, but I won’t recommend it if you use Super Dual Box.
EDIT: It’s the pad, of course. Why would anybody sell a stick for $10?

Well, the only reason I’m thinking of picking up a pad is for if I want to show up at one of these meetings, it’s kinda impractical for me to bring my keyboard after all even if there exists a keyboard to PS2/xbox converter.
Just updating people on my current status, so that the people who don’t know what is going on will now know.
I am submitting a new space request form. Right now, it is being processed, and I won’t know if it is approved for a day or 2. I am reserving thurs. so that we can have this first meeting as soon as possible, otherwise, I am aiming for wed. As short notice as it is, for all the people who are interested, I think I better deliver.

hmmm…my shifts are mainly evening shifts at EB. my other job is usually mornings till 5. like as of now brady got me mondays wednsdays and fridays closin up the store usually from 830-930. open on saturday 9-3. pretty simple schedual.
OK, so I guess we’ve reached a tentative concensus that the tourney (3S, T5, and GGXX#R) will be held on Sunday, September 11, 5-10 pm @ EB Games. All we gotta do now is come up with rules, flyers and sign-ups.
I can try to get off work to beast T5… cause yea I’m pretty sure I can…

updating about space problems:
So me and chojin requested 2 rooms in siebel but apparently siebel is out of the RSO office’s jurisdiction so I decided to go to siebel after class. My class ends at 4:50, which fortunately, wuz at siebel, but then I go to the office and it is closed. Note: Offices close at 5. So we do have some lazy bums just closing up earlier.
Anyways, while I was at the RSO office, the lady who was assigning the rooms said she could check to see if there is a room I can use. I requested it house at least 20 people and have access to a TV. She gave me Davenport Hall 132. Which I went to look at it afterwards, and discovered, I got gyped. No tv, and the classroom is pretty old. It can house 20 people though. whoohoo.
Anyways, we are working on space. We might have casuals here and there, it is a small group of us who live in the dorms.
Hopefully the people I e-mailed actually look at this forum like I recommended.
Whoever is interested in casuals, reply or what not. I want to see how many people would be interested in guilty gear casuals.

The dude sort of reminds me of Hydern from KOF, and the girl fights similar to Helena from DOA. Dunno why most of us don’t play…
Then again, T5 had about three times as many contestants then GG at the last tournament.
