judging from the last few tournaments: fat ps3s are horrid. They are starting to die and cause massive slowdown. This happened to like 1/3 of the ps3’s at fxs.

Yeah, I went ahead and splurged on the slim when I finally bought one. Totally worth the money, especially for the sweet chimes you get when turning it on and opening the tray. I’m currently trying to teach it how to say, “Good morning, Mike,” when I turn it on.
At least the 360 performs well even until it dies. Although red ringed xboxs normally dont have damage just fucked up thermal tape or some shit.
I love both slim versions of the consoles. I think I might just seriously wait for that kinda shit when new systems drop.
