Normal Kyo doesn’t have to spend much meter to do big damage [in the corner]. Furthermore, his longer combos build a ton of meter. However… EX Kyo can usually achieve better midscreen damage. EX Kyo can also harass people with guard point :qcf: P, which is just one more tool that has on normal Kyo. Both have very strong normals, but I think EX Kyo can get in more effectively and keep you stuck.
Duo Lon doesn’t seem particularly strong [imo] mainly due to the fact that once you learn his teleport mix ups, he’s not that threatening. His teleports, to the best of my knowledge, are unsafe after a block string, leaving him vulnerable to punishment. If he had a good high/low or a command grab then his teleports would be a lot scarier. Also, Duo Lon has to spend meter to wake up safely, so that probably plays a factor too.
These are just my thoughts, but I could be very wrong. lol Input…anyone?
Oh i see… with that said, i think i’ll stick to nest kyo over kyo and create something new with duo lon. i do think that his ex moves are pointless right now. i also appreciate the feedback
