that there is a slight delay time between input of motion or button
and the visual.
so basically, if u were to do a shoryuken u would notice
the character doing the move, moments after u’ve executed.
shouldnt be that way…

Well that explains the situation that we had. It was not necessarily that the joystick couldn’t block, instead it was lag from projector.
Okay practice and hopefully a tourney today. I’m gonna be there at about 1130am and it will end at 4:00pm. If we do have a tourney today, I was thinking we have a mvc2 one, but whatever others want to play is cool as well. I do want to express my regret for not having a tourney for ggxx. I know I posted it, but there were not enough peeps for a tourney. Also, thanks to all who entered the tourney for cvs2:D Next week I was told that there was a puzzle fighter tourney on fri. Same entry 2$. We could also run a ST tourney on that day if peeps want to enter. Oh almost forgot tourney will start at about one or two today. Any questions give me a call. I think that projectors should be fine in certain instances, such as using it for a puzzle fighter tourney or even watching a vid. I don’t think that we will ever be using it for a tourney though. And as for playing with your own controller, no one said that you can’t play with your own controller so there is no need to explicitly state that you want to play with your controller. In fact, it would preferable for people to play with their own controllers because there would be less question whether or not a stick is malfunctioning. Unless of course you don’t have a working stick. If that were the case, then you would have to use WHATEVER we provided. As for the mas stick situation, I believe that we have at least a hundred bucks. I am not sure if yk808 had collected the membership from a couple of people. If so then we have almost half for the mas stick. Hopefully we can put the list up online of who paid their dues already. As for the mas stick, we’re probably going to be getting it as soon as we get enough money for it. The stick should ideally have a ps2 connection and a dc connection, so we are about a hundred buck short. Oh yeah almost forgot, as a rule of the club, if you are coming to the club for the first time, there is no need to pay a fee (because we are trying to attract members). However, after that, you need to at least pay $3/visit or the whole fifteen. No whining, if you don’t wanna pay, then don’t come.

yeah there isn’t one.
I wanted a SPF2 tournament friday, but the rooms close at like 4 because the next monday is a holiday… that makes no sense, but thats the way it is.
I will check tomorrow if they have rooms available during the spring break and then plan a tournament or two then.
