UFGT7 - Evo 2011 Tournament Season Qualifier - Chicago IL - May 27-29, 2011

Sorry but the games list is pretty much final. You are more than welcome to bring setups for casuals in the BYOC room, though.

Just realized no wind jammers. I will fill my frisbie with tears once I get off work and put on my deglow yellow tank top.

Level|Up Will Stream UFGT7 ? May 27th to 29th, 2011 | Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament

Level|Up is set to stream UFGT7 into your eyeballs again this year!

Myself, Alex Valle, Frank Reyes and Louis Vigil are super excited to be working with Keits again to provide you guys with a quality stream. We’ve worked together in the past for MWC to bring one of the best streams EVAR and this time around should be no different.

Can’t wait to be back in Chicago to see old friends and for some of that DEEP DISH PIZZA.

Can’t wait to hang out with you guys again. Alex we have some unsettled business to discuss.

Oh we in there! Can’t wait to meet everybody and this is my first time in the Midwest!

I believe I am still owed a Beer!

This is great to hear; the Level Up stream last year was fantastic, one of the best I’ve seen.

Sup everyone!

Can’t wait to see the good people of the Midwest again as you’ve always been my favorite community outside the WC.

I expect nothing less than great production from the UFGT team to make the player experience the best yet!

All those that have some unfinished business with me from last year… Let’s RUSH THAT SHIT BACK DOWN! =)

Better pay up on that beer, or Hulkbag might come out.

And I still have 100 dollhairs on Marcus, ft5. Jussayin…

is it free to attend as a spectator?

Last year we had a smaller venue fee if you wanted to attend the event and play casuals, and no venue fee required to only spectate. Keits will have to confirm his plans but I would guess that is the most likely method for us to follow this year.

As of right now, specatation is free, but if you want to play in the casuals/bring your own console area, you will need to pay the venue fee for the event. Registration will be live this week.

I was going to ask wheres Melty blood? but then i saw Mystery game tournament :V

Will the text feature be working this time around?

I’m assuming you mean the texting feature of Tonamento, to which the answer is no. We won’t be using tonamento at all this year, instead we are running pools, so you shouldn’t need texts to know where to be and when.

Isn’t it in the same building? That hotel had terrible reception anyway.

so it costs 30 dollars (as of now) to register for the tournament. what is the 10 dollars for? how does a pool work?

My bday weekend! Im gonna try and make it out there for this kiets. Havent been to chicago in a while.

Registration will be live tomorrow. You will be able to register for 25 dollars as an early bird until March 14th. After that, it is 30 dollars. On May 2nd, normal registration ends, and you’ll be paying $40 for late registration. Late registration ends May 20th. At that point, your only option is Emergency Registration at the door ($50), and you can only enter games that have byes in their brackets that can be filled. DO NOT wait and register at the door.

This registration fee (called the venue fee) must be paid once by every attendee and does NOT enter you in ANY tournaments. Tournament entry is $10s per game, and 100% of that $10 will be paid back out to the placers in the tournament according to our payout system (found on Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament | May 27-29, 2011 ? Chicago, IL )

Those wishing to play only in non-official tournaments or in the bring your own console area can opt to pay a much cheaper 10 dollar venue fee.

Pools are exactly like a giant double elimination bracket, except it is broken into smaller sections. Your pool will be with 32 other players and 4 tv/console setups, and will be completed in 3 hours or less. You will need to stay at your schedule pool(s) from their start time until you are eliminated or win the pool.

Awesome! It was a pleasure getting to actually meet you last weekend in Philly. See you soon!
