I guess this thread is dying out here…
I played the #1 ranked guy on 360 last night. (Hitman420000). I’m kind of mixed. He (using Rampage of course) didn’t appear to be a cheater in any way. However, there was one point in the match where I absolutely should have submitted him. Had him in the first state of a flying armbar, and I had about 40% more stamina than him when his stamina bar emptied. Not only did he not submit, he slammed his way out of it as well. I took him to three rounds, and I lost by submission, which was also strange because I wasn’t able to escape his submission even though he was Rampage and I was teching with Forest Griffin. Our stamina was comperable as well.
That being said, I don’t know if there was some tinkering with the game in the form of a patch that came through as an informal update (similiar to how THQ keeps changing the advertisements on the Octogon mats to reflect upcoming UFC events) because some really odd things have been happening whenever I play a Rampage player lately.
