The way I see it, Eagle’s officially STATED sexuality doesn’t really matter (and may not even exist) since Eagle never really had much of a storyline in the first place. Since there’s no official statement (Why would there be? He didn’t even become a ‘REAL’ character until CVS2 anyways and by then, the Street Fighter canon storyline was ‘finished’ so to speak), I guess the most you can say is “He’s either gay or Capcom is having fun making him look gay.” So… I guess that’s my policy on that.
Until I find official confirmation that Zangief is gay, I think that’ll be my policy for Zangief too. Because like I said, supposedly Zangief’s SFZ3 win quotes (which alas were never translated) imply it very heavily too.
Poison is definately a man though. That issue has been discussed to death and we’ve gotten more than enough confirmations and official sources (which don’t even require understanding of Japanese to see the male symbol) regarding it that anyone who still disbelieves that either is new (since it takes a while to digest) or is in heavy denial.

For the sake of putting in my two cents, lemme say that I’m not completely convinced that Zangief’s gay. It’s not stated in ANY official/unnofficial source. Saiki’s word alone isn’t enough. Apparently his SFZ3 win quotes heavily imply his ‘gayness’, but no one here is able to tell us what his win quotes specifically say. Therefore, that defense doesn’t mean shit to us unless someone gets a hold of his SFZ3 win quotes, translates them, and posts them here. Shit, I’d post his SFZ3 win quotes right here and now if there’s anyone who can read japanese text.
