I heard that there’s already a gaming club here, but they don’t really play fighting games. We could still join and get them into it though :V
I’m down with that. I’ll check it out next week.
Yeah, I went to Cody’s once but I’d rather play on campus if we have a place. I was thinking of a rotation type thing, sometimes it’s over at someone’s place, sometimes my place, sometimes… yeah…
Like I said though, we can’t do tourney type things since those involve a lot of people and we’re living in dorms and apartments with other students. Just some casuals.
Who can host?
that would be awesome…but how dya find/contact the club? totally new here.
3S has no love…
I’ll play that too, just say what time to meet at the arcade. Warning though, i’ve only played that game a few times.
abe…
im in for some casuals.
im sure if you set a time and place people will show up. if you build it, they will come.
So who here actually brought an xbawx or a ps3? or we can always just do laptops.
same…PM me.
So classes start tomorrow, where are the SF4 players going to meet?
What’s Good Everyone?
Just wanted to let some of the SD heads know that there’s a SF4 tourney going down next Saturday 10/3/09. For more info check out the link.
Thank You For Your Time.
lol, Franky Fresh, what’s up G? Nikolai here
Don’t think there’s going to be too many classes tomorrow with the walkout. I’ll be up on campus Friday afternoon though about 2-ish. What’s up with some games, mangs?!
Anyone down to host on campus over the weekend? i’m interested in seeing UCSD has to offer in terms of skill level.
im also down to host, but no consoles ahaha. oh and i live in mira mesa.
so ya, any takers? come one come all!
This thread is weak. Let’s see if we can make something happen.
I got a 360 and two sticks. I’m willing to get some people together (<10? Are there even that many of us?) to play at my place in Mira Mesa. I’m even willing to even provide rides. It would be sick if someone else had some gear so we could have another setup or two.
Send me a PM. Message me on aim (siccmaggott). Give me a call or send me a text (714-234-0321). Send me an email (chn002@ucsd.edu). No excuses to not play.
Perhaps we can play this weekend if enough of you guys contact me by then.
I think a lot of us are trying not to travel outside of UCSD is the thing, or maybe just me. My weekends are dedicated to KoF 98 um and 2002 um atm, but i am down to give your place a try though. I will try to stop by student services tomorrow and see about that videogame group they got going already on campus. If we just had access to a TV on campus we could get some shit working.
what video game group are you referring to?
i mean, if one of you younger kids at ucsd is willing to host, i’d be happy to show up and school you just a bit =]
I would have preferred to play on campus too, but no one wants to host anything. So far it seems only Niko and Sann are down. I would be down to changing the plans to rolling out to the tourney on Sat with you guys if our turn out is too small for a sesh.
roll out to the tourney to get acquainted with more SD players imo! miramar speed circuit is fairly close to UCSD so unlike all of our normal weekly sessions this one is pretty much within reason to get your sf4 fix.
anyway i know you guys want to keep it on campus and a couple of regulars have tried to convince you to come out to casual sessions/ranbats but at least try and make it out to this tourney because the distance is no excuse this time
i agree with pimpbot.
also, me and sicc have just set a mini sesh for this afternoon at around noon. feel free to send me an email at sannstorm@gmail.com if you guys are interested.
