Opening it to all of socal’s players is definitely on my list of goals. But since latitude 55 is only open from Monday to Friday 8 am - 7 pm, it’s kinda hard. If this shit really takes off, we can maybe try to do a large SFIV tournament at Getaway Cafe on a weekend that will be open to everyone, but for now I think it’s best to keep it to people in the area.
Please keep in mind that UC schools just became a lot more expensive haha. I can’t use my tuition money to rent out a large area like activegamers or empire arcadia lol.

Wednesday there’s no classes due to the holiday. If Latitude55 is open we’re gonna try and run some casuals from 4pm-close. I’ll be bringing my TE stick. It wouldn’t hurt for other players to bring their own stick too. BUT, if Latitude is closed, then we’ll just have the casuals on Friday, same time. We could even possibly say fuck it and have it on Tuesday :\

Last time UCR threw a big tourney where all of Socal plus more (i.e. Norcal, Vegas, etc.) showed up (like back in 2004 or so), we didn’t rent out a large area. We just took over the entire lounge area under the Pentland dorms and were able to fit like 15+ TVs for like 5 different tourneys. Just giving you ideas. :wgrin:
K, so Latitude is closed on Wednesday. Myself (TuneSquad)and Mike (mooyang) will be at Latitude tomorrow (Tuesday Nov. 10th) from 7pm-close or whatever time. If you can make it tomorrow let us know here so we can get an idea of how many ppl we might have.

Latitude 55 is a new restaurant / chill spot on campus in the commons, err should I say… HUB, lol. For those of you who haven’t been to Latitude 55, there’s a rate to play on their xbox’s. I think it’s like 75 cents for the first 15 minutes and then 5 cents for every minute after? I’m not sure, but basically an hour of play is gonna cost about $3. So if you guys plan on going to Latitude before we start at 7pm, you guys are gonna have to pay to play. When we start at 7pm, Mike is gonna take care of the fee with his tremendous amount of Latitude hours that he won with random EX Tiger Uppercuts x 93454345345.
I’ll be there tomorrow ~7:00ish gonna bring my stick with me too.
