Oh yeah, I’m gonna run a tournament next week, Saturday, may 29th. I plan to run a 3s tourney side by side with a CvS2 tourney. I’m not sure on the formats yet…anyone who wants to help in any way (publicity, suggestions, rules, etc) can contact me through these forums or in person.

A lot of people like to complain about the controls, including myself (I don’t like 2p side much), but none of the other, more skilled players have complained or anything. Adapt, fools…

but seriously, i wonder if he laughed at me because of that one day when i played him, he got a a big lead(like three characters left while i had only half life sentinel) and i just got up and left cuz he still turtled against me when i was totally helpless.

or was it cuz he thought it was just funny that i couldn’t catch his runaway storm and he couldn’t help laughing.

anyways, i felt soooo much better when i fucked with GTO in cvs2. it was great to just watch him build bar while i stood there in neutral. cuz seriously GTO can’t make good use of supers in cvs2, so go ahead, press that fucking strong all day, i’ll use CBS and see how much his max bar will help him then.

oh, i OCV’ed the janitor too. i didn’t care much for beatin him, but when he got up and said “oh man, i think i forgot how to play”, it was kind of funny.

sometimes i wonder what the hell is going on in GTO’s head.

i suggested earlier in this thread that we should change GTO’s name to ODF

JR tried playing cvs2 and can’t do a DP motion, goes to show that 3S sticks are way better.

jack can no longer do sak’s CC, compared to back when we still had old ZZ sticks

i can’t do qcf/b x2 motions, i can consistantlyl pull off 720’s or 360s though.

marcus can’t DP with cammy, like i see him do a lot of s.short when i jump in.

dentron can do bison and sak CC but it looks like he’s making pizza dough when he’s doing the CC. crazy overrotation just so the moves would come out.

sorry, dude, but those sticks are far from tournament ready. When’s the tech guy coming in again this week? I’ll try showing up and showing him how the sticks AREN’T working. It’s not a question of running a diagnostic, pushing up, then down, then pushing a button or two and declaring victory over the errors plaguing the sticks. He replaced the switches, so now there’s a problem with how those switches are registering QCF motions, as we’ve all been able to attest to. It’s cool if a random scrub screws up a fireball, but it is NOT acceptable to see people like khoa fuck up kikosho, or allen mess up shine knuckle. That’s unaccepta-bab-ble

speaking of 3s, john, next time the tech guy comes in, ask him to set damage to 1 star (i think it’s at two stars right now). A lot of people don’t feel the urge to play as much because they die so fast, and after talking to a lot of people from other arcades regarding damage scaling. ours is out-of-fucking-control. So taking the damage down a pinch will make people want to play more, fo’ shizzle nizzle. that’s right, i said it, bitches.
