the original GTU is enough to make me angry. He doesn’t bother playing third strike, but his cvs2 nonsense is getting really annoying. It seems lucky to me… I don’t know, maybe it’s just my shitty timing? I can’t seem to tech ANY of his throws I see from miles away, and some bs comes out of his ass every time during the last round, whether or not I have the advantage at the beginning. Three examples: He jumps in, I try to counter with hibiki and super. She instead does s.short, I lose. I’m forced down to low life with my last character during his mai because instead of parrying that nose dive I’m jumping forward. Lastly, I combo into deadly rave and screw it up for the first time since learning the super in training mode. He wins with less than half the life of what that super would have taken. Coincidence? My lack of skill? Hmm…
The most hilarious thing is that he obviously does the motion for a wakeup super, is dazed by his own efforts after realizing I’m not going to fall for it and doesn’t hit the button, I combo and kill him when he’s not fast enough to start blocking after spinning the stick with huge telegraphic motions. He then starts pounding the stick back as if it wasn’t his fault he lost. To that I say “whatevv.”

Anyway, if anyone of you don’t know me, I’m the one who comes to ZZ wearing gay working clothes, playing third strike and cvs2, doing the same shit over and over and never improving.
I graduated but only work 10 minutes away and use my lunch break to feed my addiction that is street fighter.
I like to say, everyone improved immensely and if it seems that I get pissed after I lose or win, its not because I’m pissed at you but because I’m pissed for fuckin up a combo I can never get right.
A side note… does anyone here ever play the game Mutant Fighter… its an old school arcade fighting game (came out like 10 years ago). I was wondering if anyone knows where I could go play it.
news from e3: i had my friend try some of the things that were suggested by you guys and apparently urien’s unblockable is still in there. The dude that was he talked to about the bundle said that the port was “arcade perfect” i dont know if that is version 1 or version 2 perfect but if the unblockable is in it, i would assume it would be the first version. If this is not the case when it comes out, don’t hold me responsible

The last and most important thing to confirm is the timing difference. Unfortunately we won’t be able to screw around enough to know about that until it comes out.
Both CVS2 sticks have been replaced by two totally new sticks. Some type of eight-ways is what we figured by the clicky noises it makes. They still need to be broken in. Dragon punches are kinda tricky as we experimented today. Hopefully, they’ll be tournament worthy, eh?
i fucking hate GTO. he stands there standing his meter like a fucking jackass, and i was just like fuck it and opened up my drink and took a few sips during the match (like 15 seconds total time). he still continued to charge his meter and not move forward at all. that’s pretty dedicated turtling.
i fought him with his own technique as you’ve probably seen me do before and i won. then i still rocked him with dudley. he hates me now for sure.
well shortly after you left i was able to get that a-sak/bison combo off a couple of times, its just weird because they’re more sensitive and they have stronger springs. Because of some of that, me as well as a few others kept doing random jumps on accident, maybe they just need some wearing in.
GTO is cool like that.
once, we had a bar building war, and i won, but he kept pressing strong, so i just sat there for 10 seconds until he had full bar. it was funny cuz soon as he got full bar, he pressed downback, which amazes me cuz i’d figure he’d press downback after i finished…
he has incredibly fast reactions. sometimes during our MANY bar building wars, i’ll taunt, and he’ll do ex fireball on reaction. this guy is FAST. watch out! i’ve been hit by his ex fireballs while taunting. there’s no tricking this guy!

whenever i play cvs2, i’m gonna just flat out turtle. seriously, everyone does it. WINNERS turtle. go to an RFC tourny, everyone is turtling.
agreed…i tried out the new sticks and they’re pretty clicky…mostly everything i was doing was coming out, minus some random small jumps…i still don’t know who these turdlers are, but i want to play them…i like people who get mad when they play…it’s funny. like a cat. or triangular nipples. yah triangular nipples like doritos…motherfuckin doritos man…i said…nipple.
I honestly am with chris here, he seriously never seems to get angry. Is this GTU guy the guy who uses Remy, Oro, and 12? If so then that guy turtles a lot. Jumps back and do standing strongs to charge meter. Worse is with Remy he’ll stay at a distance and throw a bunch of sonic waves really fast while doing standing strongs. When you jump in he’ll flash or do a standing strong then flash. Damn GTU.
nah, GTU doesn’t play 3s. GTU is a tall ugly who looks like a nerd taken out of a random anime and plays CvS2 and DDR. He likes to pick Iori and Vice a lot. he’ll pretty much just jump back and wait for you to try to jump in. if you don’t, he’ll start throwing shit at you or just keep jumping back. he pretty much gets owned by high priority small jumps.
