Your name popped up 'cause of your Oro. I didn’t know if JR was going to be available, or even wanted to be a part of, the tourney. Likewise for Marcus, Nate and Ace for CVS2/3s, since I hadn’t seen 'em around.
As for GGXX, i doubt everyone can go at the same time, so maybe we can try a get together beforehand to practice. If interested, that is. But then we’d need people to bring sticks that can adapt or are already wired for PS2 play.
Okay, we sort of started on the wrong foot, in the sense of not knowing who can go/who’s interested. So who’s interested in joining for this thing if it does go down, and also list the game you’re going to try and play in.
The round robin idea sounds good, but, seeing as how it’s not an official tourney, we’ll probably just have to settle it with the machines at ZZ being set at their current settings and just playing as though they were casual matches.

lol, were they? i thought is was the other mike. well, he was over and we played marvel and cvs2. on a side note he’s gotten A LOT better at cvs2. but he decided to use strider/doom a couple times, and it was pretty decent. i guess i don’t provide that much comp, but it was kinda hard to get around him. and i dunno how the fuck he busts out infinites and resets with that dc controller on marvel, and all those customs and other combos with the ps2 controller for cvs2. u guys should REALLY watch him play on console, with controllers. that shit is plain ridiculous. amazed the shit outta me.
ps2 pad customs? thats redicullous. i tried to do the bison cc on pad and only got like 3 or 4 PVs max. Waay too hard.
I am interested in playing cvs2 as well as ggxx but am scrubby in both and so ill only wanna go if i qualify/can get a ride.

Actually Puff the Magic Dragon is about a dragon. All the drug references were basically made up by other people. Put that way I guess no one really knows. But if it were really about weed or PCP I don’t think my teachers/“camp leaders” would have made me sing it with other dumbass kids every year up until 4th grade.
But I totally think that it is fun to think of alternate “true” meanings behind stuff.
EDIT: And if it were about drugs I’d say it is about smoking heroin given the title’s similarity to “chasing the dragon.”

dc controllers suck…i hate it…personally i think DC controllers promotes one button tactics, cuz they force you to rely on it badly since it’s near impossible to do anything else…
